Purchased this for my shoei rf1400, i have road about 6800 miles with it and it workes well. Adjusts nicely and quickly, and the tint is adequately dark most of the time. The exception is when riding into the sun it could be alittle darker, but its still much better than a standard clear lense. Then when the lense is clear its not perfectly clear; It still has a very slight shade to it. You can still see enough to safely ride at night with a good headlight but its noticable. Lastly it does scratch kinda easy when things like small stones hit it. Ultimately a good lense for the price. Fit and functions well. I would buy it again.

This shield does fit on to my shoei helmet. While it could go darker it does go to a light smoke. If you were to buy this think of it going only dark as a pair of cheap gray shades. For the convenience of not having to constantly swap shields I think it is a good buy.

Doesn’t fit quite as well as the original Shoei but it’s well worth the $40.00. I often commute to work in the bright morning sun and then home in the dark and it handles both nicely. Will definitely buy again.

This visor does look nice from afar & is easy to install. It fits well & pinlock insert fits. It does not provide as much light reduction as my Shoei brand mirrored visor. From the outside you can see my face through this visor as well, which was disappointing. As a female rider that has been followed before, I like the mirrored visors for the anonymity. So if that is important to you, I would recommend spending the extra money for the actual Shoei brand visor.

Held in the sun for 5 minutes and it was the lightest tint ever. I put on my helmet and tried again just in case you know that would make it work better...still didn't work any better. It's so light you can clearly see your face. I looked at the sun and the best I can tell is I ruined my retinas. So honestly not sure how much sun it's blocking. I decided to try it over the 200 dollar transition lense, but looks like I'm shelling out the money for the real thing. Save your time and money.

This is amazing. I am all for companies charging what ever they want to charge for what ever they make, but I am also all for companies building the same quality product for a fraction of the cost. I have purchased one from the original company and one from this company and am pleased with both. However, this gets my five stars because of its amazing quality for so much lower of a price. The visor is clear and installs easily. The auto tint in sun & dark is very good. The 2 stars come from it not fitting correctly. It does not stay clipped to the release so when your riding it will randomly open. When riding in the rain water comes in from the top part of the visor running down the inside getting the padding and chin strap wet. It whistles letting in air at any speed above 50 mph.
