I purchased a two pack for tree care use. They were easy to hook to safety helmets but I had a problem with one of them. After talking with Cardo customer service they walked me through a diagnostic test and determined that the cradle had a problem. I had a new cradle in a couple days free of charge. I have mine synced to my phone. I was 35’ up in a bucket piecing out a birch tree with a 201tc while talking to my buddy on the phone. He said he could hear the chainsaw but it sounded really far away. I have music playing but when my ground guys talk the music level drops down and they are easy to hear. You don’t need to have your phone synced to use the communication ability. The battery lasts all day no problem ... show more

I ordered what I believed to be a new unit from Amazon. When the package arrived, it was missing five essential components. After contacting Amazon, I was informed that I had actually received a used unit from Cardo. Upon reviewing my order details, I saw that it was listed as “Used – Mint Condition.” Missing five pieces does not qualify as “mint condition.” I have included a picture of one of the empty bags that was in the box I received. I contacted Amazon again to explain the situation. They agreed to provide a partial discount and advised me to contact Cardo directly to obtain the missing components. I then opened a support ticket with Cardo and was informed that they would not replace the missing parts. As a result, I now have a $700 system that is completely unusable. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered — from both Amazon and Cardo. The lack of accountability and resolution is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Based on this experience, I will not be purchasing Cardo products again. I would strongly urge both companies to review how situations like this are handled, as this level of service is unacceptable for a product at this price point. ... show more

The Cardo PACKTALK Edge is a well-built device — it feels tough and durable, like it can handle the demands of off-road riding. Setup was straightforward and it holds up well physically. The one downside is that sound quality takes a hit once wind picks up at higher speeds. That said, a lot of that likely comes down to helmet fit and wind protection rather than the unit itself — pairing it with a better helmet would probably make a big difference. This is actually BADASS. I'm an arborist and climb trees for a living, outdoors and lots of dust. I've been through 2 SENA systems and they failed on me pretty quickly. I installed this in my protos helmet and it works fantastic. Pretty easy install, love it
