The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Fodsports FX Pro headsets because I was looking for a way to communicate with my wife and riding partner. We wanted a Bluetooth system that would be loud enough that we could hear over the engine and wind noise. This system has proven to be exactly what we needed and at a price point that was very good. First, the unboxing was pretty straight forward. Everything was packaged very well. I expected the units to feel cheap but right away I was impressed with the build quality and feel of the units. The install of the headsets was easy to do. I like how they have several different methods of installs. For my helmet, I chose the self-adhesive install. I put the headset exactly where I wanted it to be and pulled the backer off and boom, it was done. Very strong tape so make sure you put it where you want it to stay. On my wife’s helmet, I choose to install it with the removable spring clips provided. That was actually even easier than the other way. Once it is installed you can remove the spring clips and the unit just stays in place. I chose to install the soft microphones to the front of both our chin guards. After testing the system the location of the microphones it was perfect. Connecting the headsets to each other took a bit of learning to get right but once I did it a few times it worked perfectly. We only have two headsets but it says you can connect up to 4 headsets. We tested the distance today and was very happy with how it all worked. The farthest we got away from each other was about ¾ mile apart and the headsets didn’t cut out at all and there was no static that we could hear. Overall I would say that we are very happy with how well these headsets work and I would recommend them to anyone. ... show more

Install was super easy and loved the 2 mic options that were included. 1 for open-face helmets and 1 for closed-face. You do need to read the instructions for setting up and pairing with the other unit and or with your phone. The sound quality was a little off when we first installed but found that I didn't have the headphones and mic plugged in all the way. Needed to make sure it was pressed in hard and then the sound improved. The intercom function sounds good and the hands-free communication is great. It's not the best sound quality for music played from my phone but it works well and switches from music to voice or phone call without issue. ... show more

Used these on a recent motorcycle trip with a friend. Ran the intercom for over 8hrs and the battery only dropped to 80%. Sound quality and volume is great. Obviously at higher speeds you are fighting wind noise but that partially depends on your helmet. Range is decent but works mainly on line of sight. Hills/curves/etc between riders will cause a little static. Linking two intercoms was super easy. Tried linking a 3rd headset that was a Cardo but couldn’t figure it out. I believe it can be done but linking more than 2 headsets or with other brands becomes increasingly difficult and complicated. I have been using this system for about 1 month and I'm very satisfied. I only use it for music and the occasional phone call. I have not connected to other intercom riders because I have no interest in that feature. Got caught in a rain storm and no issues there either. My husband and I ride together all the time and wanted a com set to communicate directions, emergencies, etc. These were so simple and they look great. Also, we have used them on 4 rides, each about 2 hours long. We left the radio open to each other the entire ride. The charge on both are still saying 80%. In my opinion, the charge on these are amazing. My only disappointment was that I can't connect my phone to the com AND to my husband. I usually lead and I like hearing directions through the headphones. I have to choose either the directions or my husband. I will always choose him :) Still, these are perfect if you are looking for a simple way to communicate with another rider. ... show more

When you connect two together it works well. Any more than that is a problem. Instructions are not the best either. We tried to link up 4 of them together over the course of a weekend. 3 and 4 would remain in contact. 1 and 2 would drop out and we would have to hit the com button to come back in about every 4 minutes. It was annoying enough that it turned to rage and one pulled his off and threw it, and another ripped it from his helmet all together. We read the instruction booklet, we watched youtube videos. It can be very confusing and frustrating. When 2 people connect it worked decent. We are searching for better options now. ... show more

If I want to connect with other riders I need to bring a packet with me explaining how to use it. Luckily me and my friend both bought the same model, but even still there are times where we need to pull over and figure out what's going on.
