In my opinionthe PackTalk Pro is far superior to any other helmet communication device. I often have to take telephone calls while riding in groups. I'm typically surrounded by loud Harleys (including my own) and people think I'm sitting in my office instead of riding at 80mph down the highway. When you buy yours make sure you don't yell into the mic, there's no need as it is really sensitive and the built in processor seperates your voice from the background noise. I find I can communicate with up to 14 riders just like sitting around a campfire. You can hear everyone at the same time unlike with a CB or many other communication devices. The packtalk pro's battery life lasts for hours, the quality of the music I stream from my phone sounds amazing, it really weighes next to nothing and you can use it in the rain! Voice commands are simple and straight forward. I update my Cardo at least once a year for free on their website. After trying different brands, I'm sold on these! The first thing I noticed was the sound quality. The JBL speakers are loud and clear, even at highway speeds, and phone calls come through crisp with very little wind noise. The unit itself feels solid and well-built, and being waterproof gives peace of mind when riding in bad weather. If you are looking for a comms system, look no further! Easy to control, install, and the quality is 2nd to none! I've had no connectivity issues with other riders. It fit my Scorpion helmet like a glove. The noise cancelation on the mics are amazing as well! Go with this one!

I used the adapter that Cardo sells to make mounting my Cardo Packtalk Pro to my Shoei Neotec 2 helmet quick and secure. The only issue I would warn people about is that the larger 45mm speakers that come with the unit do not fit snugly into the speakers holes in the helmet, so they are raised a little and not flush and may cause the fit around your ears to be tighter. The quality of the sound and the configurability of the Packtalk Pro is excellent. Love the Automatic On/Off feature. ... show more

i was hesitant at first, but after listening to the audio, while on a ducati with an extremely loud exhaust i am blown away by the audio. The comfort is great, dont feel the speakers in my agv helmet, and was easy to set up. The biggest thing for me as a typical solo rider was the crash notification, while i dont hope to ever use it, imo its worth every bit of the extra money. ive had it for a few months now and still holding up great, and including in the rain. ... show more
