I live in Texas and our weather can fluctuate from chilly mornings to hot afternoons in the fall. I have been on the hunt for a lightweight trench coat that is modern, on trend, versatile, and lightweight at a great price point. This meets all of my expectations! It does run a bit large. I originally ordered my normal size M (8/10) but had to reorder and size down to a small for a more tailored fit. Don't get me wrong, it still has give and allows for wearing a heaver material garment underneath (sweaters, professional blazer, etc.) while not looking boxy. The beautiful draping is what really set this apart from other trench coats! I'm 5' 6" and the length hits me beautifully at the calf. It's buttery soft and fully lined. I also really love the look of the tortoise brown buttons on the bodice and sleeves. This is just that good and the quality is what you would find at Banana Republic and J. This is a nice trench coat, fabric is medium weight - not too stiff, not too soft. It has classic styling without being stuffy like Burberry or London Fog. Originally ordered 3X because I like a roomy coat, but it was too large so downsized to 2X. Length is very good, mid-calf on me at 5'6." I was looking for a trench coat with a modern/classic vibe, and THIS. IS. IT! I’m 5’3”, and normally wear an xl in coats and jackets to leave room for bulky sweaters underneath. The reviews said to size down, so I ordered a large. It is perfect! The fabric feels rich, it’s structured, stylish, and I’ve already got so many compliments in the two days I’ve worn it. Absolutely gorgeous trench coat. I am 5'4", 185 lbs, 47" bust. I ordered this coat per Amazon's recommendations which was a XXL and it swallowed me whole. I reordered an XL and it was still too big. I ordered again and just received the L and it fits perfectly with just enough room for a light sweater. The detailing on this coat is fabulous. I love the fabric it drapes very nicely. It feels like I looked at at least a hundred trench coats on Amazon and lots of high priced name brands. I finally decided on this one as the fabric content most closely matched that of the most expensive trench I found (you know the one) I'm so happy I did. This is definitely the best bargain trench anywhere hands down. I also very much appreciate that it was NOT vacuum packed. I spent a couple hours steaming another trench coat that was not nearly as nice as this one and came vacuum sealed. I have decided anything else that is packaged that way is going straight back without even being opened. I'm sick of steaming clothes for hours. ... show more

Ladies this is a beautiful trenchcoat unfortunately I had to return it twice. Sizing is the problem. If you wear a size 20 and are very hippy but smaller on the top maybe the XXL will work. First I ordered the 3X going by the size chart. It was toooo big! I reordered to a size XL and it was tooo small. I just decided not to order the third time. It's a shame you can't find nice items in the store anymore in your size. I've been looking for a dark beige trenchcoat for over a year! When you carry most of your weight in your hips finding straight style coats is a problem. Good Luck ... show more

Nice quality trench coat. It is light enough to transition seasons well. While it does wrinkle easily, a light ironing does the trick. I ordered my true normal size and it fits just right.
