The kit comes with everything that is needed! The planter it came with is super adorable and of good quality. The seeds are great and almost all, if not all, germinated! The soil disk is very easy to use: just add water and watch it puff up! The seeds only took a day or two to start germinating and a few days more to get a lush amount of grass. Best of all, both of my cats love the grass. One of the cats is obsessed with eating this, to the point where I am afraid to come home one day and find him smoking a cat grass joint! Not as easy to grow as other cat grass kits I have had. Had to add extra water beyond instructions, and covering it loosely with plastic wrap to get it to germinate is integral. It takes longer to grow than other kits I have had. Also, the grazing area is considerably smaller. I expected that somewhat but would recommend this item for one or 2 cats. I have 3. I would suggest 2 of these for 3 or more cats. Cute kit though. Mug is ceramic with cute kitty face graphics. Would make a lovely gift.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. She loves Hello Kitty and we love plants. Sadly, we don’t have a cat at the moment—but it’s still super fun to have in the window with the other plants. I didn’t even know it was organic when I ordered it. It is! That makes this infinitely better and more valuable in my opinion. The directions were so easy to follow. The seeds started sprouting very quickly, within a few days. Just super impressed with the quality and the company. It was gorgeous, lush, dense, dark green etc before I over-heated/dried it in a sunny spot for a few days. It’s back to a normal sun/shade spot and watered and getting back to the nice darker green, just fyi. I can only imagine the kitties would absolutely love this plant as well. The vase is sturdy, durable for sure. No drainage holes, but that hasn’t been a problem at all. I highly recommend this for both cats and people! (***Pic and video are at about 2 weeks since planting the seeds***)

This product is super cute but not practical. It has no drainage hole in the bottom so it is difficult to get the watering just right. It is not heavy so my cats tip it over regularly. The grass seeds are good, the cats like them. I wouldn't buy this again without some modification (increase) to the size, weight of the design.
