  • Really cool fun toy for kids from 18 months+.
Style: Orchestra
Such a cool toy for kids. I am so impressed with this item and for it being at the price point it is makes it such a great buy. The size is perfect for kids to handle it without issues, not too big or small, weight is good. Love the lights which aren’t too bright or dim, volume control works well and loudest setting isn’t too loud to drive parents crazy. A super cool toy. My autistic 9 year old enjoys playing it as well as my 18 month old. I even enjoy playing it with them and creating the orchestra. ... show more

  • Excellent gift!
Style: Orchestra
This is a fantastic musical toy. Generally speaking I don't allow toys with batteries in my house, but I decided to give this a shot. It is great. The music is actual music, not super obnoxious "kids music." So far the only sound that has gotten on my nerves is the flute. The songs are mostly kid songs like Pop Goes the Weasel and Twinkle Twinkle with a few classical pieces thrown in. But again the way they are played is very pretty. My son, 3.5 has really enjoyed trying out different instruments and then will grab his rhythm sticks and dance around. We have dance parties where we do fast or slow dances based on the tempo of the music playing. You can adjust the tempo but he hasn't really figured that out yet. There is plenty to keep him occupied for now as well as different things for him to learn as he gets a little older like the difference between wind and percussion instruments. The pieces will fit in the top or store inside a compartment in the back. My son needs help making them fit in the storage part and the door for it seems a bit flimsy. The shape sorting aspect on top is a little advanced, and therefore not ideal. Even I have to turn the pieces over to see exactly how it should go. However I would gift this without hesitation. My son has enjoyed it and every adult who has seen it also wants a turn playing with it. That tells me it will be used for quite some time, assuming it holds up. At the moment I don't see any reason it wouldn't. ... show more

  • such an awesome toy!
Style: Orchestra
My son received this for his 2nd birthday. He's now almost 6 and I love that he still uses it. This is the kind of toy that even adults can enjoy. When kids come to visit our house, this seems to be the go-to toy of choice! It's definitely more on the expensive side but I would say it's worth it for what it does and how you can get such long use out of it. It's still working great - the only thing that's broken slightly is the back storage door, but I think that was just from careless shoving the instruments into the storage compartment. ... show more

  • One of the best musical toy
Style: Orchestra
This is one of the best musical toys out there! It’s incredibly fun and helps kids learn to distinguish between different instruments and understand how they work together to create harmony. Even adults can enjoy playing with it for relaxation and entertainment.

  • Great First Little Piano
Style: Piano
This is a great value for the money. It’s our second purchase. We kept one and bought one for a friend’s little one. It’s a great first introduction to the piano for a toddler. It’s durable for little hands and has a good sound quality. It was a little tougher to figure out how to stop the music from playing. ... show more

  • Beautiful Wooden Piano Toy!
Style: Piano
I’d been waiting for this to be available again! It did get a bit pricier than before, but compared to other wooden piano toys, it’s still more affordable. I love the colors, they’re so charming, and it even comes with cute little music pieces. There’s also a button that plays wonderfully performed children’s songs, and some of them are beautifully reharmonized! Such a lovely and inspiring toy for little ones. ... show more

  • Intuitive, Super Fun, Thoughtful Storage
Style: Orchestra
Very attractive and well thought out toy. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas because I secretly wanted to play with it (my daughter is only 9 months old). She has three older sibs who will all enjoy it too but I’ll update my review after Christmas with that info. Well thought out- lights up to show you which instruments play accompaniment and which play melody. Adjusts with each song because it changes. Lights also show which instruments belong to each family (brass, percussion, etc). The storage compartment in back is genius and easily fits all the instruments. The clear shell allows you to see the inner workings- pretty neat for older/techy kids. The volume control is a plus for adults and the song choice is decent. I loved that you don’t have to have the instruments in their “home base” in order for it to work- the baby knocks them out but it doesn’t matter. The only thing that affects music is placing instruments in the pit. I’m 35 and I have fun playing with this toy! The two things that felt “meh” were: 1- The selection of songs is good but I’d like even more or a way to add more. The songs will most likely get old after a while. In my opinion, not a reason to not buy though! 2- The “Tempo” feature does speed up/slow down the song but it also simultaneously changes the pitch of the instruments (remember the Yak Bak?). So for those a little more picky about semantics, the “tempo” feature might be annoying. However, I think the kids will actually like it. Again, not a reason to not buy. This toy is amazingly fun, attractive, intuitive, and seemingly well built, so absolutely worth the cost. Another plus is that the plastic molded packaging is recyclable. We’ll see what my kids think on Christmas and I’ll be curious to see how long the batteries last. ... show more

  • It’s a hit!
Style: Piano
My young nephew LOVES this! He was around 6 months old when I got it for him and he still loves this nearly a year later so he’s still having fun. The wooden tones mixed with a pop of color allow it to look fun for kids while not looking like a total eye sore for his parents. It’s tiny, so you can store it anywhere and has been highly durable. Money well spent and it still works well! ... show more
