This is a phone holder for Tesla cars (Model 3/Y). It goes on the edge of the screen, works great. I normally like to have my phone mounted, not because I am using it, but it just gives a peace of mind. I have a magsafe case so it worked well with the magnet. The magnet is quite strong, did a good job of holding my phone and not falling off. Keep in mind that it also depends on the magnet on your magsafe case, I've gotten a few magsafe cases that had weak magnets, so that will affect how it works with this. It wouldn't be fair to this product if you had a weak magsafe case but expected this to do all the heavy lifting! This does come with a magnet ring which you can use to stick on your phone if you DON'T have a magsafe case but I didn't get to test that out so I can't vouch for the strength on that. I am happy with this phone holder, it works great, adjustable as needed. There is a small concave where it should fit a popsocket if you have one of those on your phone, sadly I have a different brand that's much larger and bulkier so I was not able to use my popsocket with this. That's fine because mine is a magnetic "popsocket" so all I have to do is remove it every time I need to use this phone holder - which is what I've been doing with another phone holder in the other car. However, it is nice to have this extra feature for those that have Popsockets. I was not able to test it with the Popsocket brand so again, I can't comment on this aspect. Overall this is a great phone holder compatible with Tesla Model 3/Y cars.

I ordered this to try as a phone mount on my 2021 Model Y. It fits perfectly and it holds extremely well - even before tightening it down, the suction cups hold it in place. The magnet has no problem holding my 16 Pro Max. There are three adjustments. One of them is just to tighten it, but the other two are for positioning. You can rotate the arm along one axis, allowing you to position the magnet to the side or above the screen. The magnetic attachment is on a ball joint, so you can also swivel it. But only to an extent because the phone is on nearly the same plane as the screen. So if you try to tilt it too much, it bumps into it. My problems with this unit don’t have much to do with the unit itself — it does everything it said it would. But what I found is that I can’t get a good placement. On the driver side, it’s blocked by the steering wheel. On the passenger side, I find it awkwardly placed and far away. It turns out that it clamps with enough strength that you can also mount it to the bottom of the screen, but that didn’t work for me either. And to be clear, I tried that position but didn’t drive with it, so I’m not sure how well that bottom mounting would hold on. The bottom line is the function is there, it’s just not for me. You can find a lot of similar products to this one, and many of those have glowing reviews, so I think I’m probably in the minority as it comes to my usability complaints.

Does great holding my iPhone to my 2023 Tesla model 3. Installation is super easy. Just a few minutes straight out the box and it’ll be mounted and ready for use. You do need to wait I think 24 hours for the magnet to cure to your phone, so definitely do that so you don’t compromise how well it’ll stick to your phone. Works great to have your phone at eye level so you don’t have to look down. I usually keep mine on the charging doc and look down. For me, this is useful because I prefer to use Waze for my GPS, and I don’t have that on my Tesla. Seems pretty durable. Material is thick. Seems like it’s sturdy and would withstand falling over and over again for example. Has the ability to adjust angles so you can have your phone sitting exactly how you want it. Easy to adjust it as well. For reference, I have an iPhone 15.
