I love this roof rack! As most all the reviews say it was definitely more challenging than some of the other accessories I’ve added to my JKU. I studied and looked at most of the cage style roof racks, especially the Gobi. They all had a big drawback, which is fuel economy. This so far has not affected mine (rails only, I don’t need the slats). mine was so that I can mount an RTT. Has worked perfectly. You definitely need to take your time and I watched the YouTube video from TeraFlex several times. I also watched a few installs by regular folks. After all the videos there were no surprises in the install went fairly quick. I only needed to take the top off and on twice. That was the hardest part. The videos didn’t cover how to deal with hardtop insulation kits, I just drilled the holes and pushed them out on the inside while using a long razor blade to cut the insulation and the fit looks amazing. I really I love this addition, it looks great and does not add much weight (25lbs) or require Having stuff bolted on my windshield and rear bumper. The rails are 2 inches tall so I had to order longer bolts for my RTT. Not sure if I needed it but when I did the install I added a little bit of 100% silicone RTV to all the areas I drilled holes in the tub before adding the rubber seals. Hoping this will prevent any leaks. I will try to add an update in a couple of months after we go through monsoon season here in Arizona.

Just installed this today by myself. Well, I had help removing the hard top. Can’t understand the negative reviews. This thing went together like a charm. If you’re not mechanically inclined, I would suggest getting a professional to do the install, as it is tedious, but doable if you know what you’re doing. All in all, another great product from Teraflex. Also, I hear no wind noise, as another reviewer suggested. One of the best additions (among many) that I have added to my JK Unlimited. Looks amazing!

Best option for roof rack I think. Supports two kayaks just fine. Definitely takes awhile to install, mostly from having to be so careful putting all the right parts together in order and drilling holes precisely. My only complaint is they should have made the access hole for the 4 mounting bolts wider. Sometimes the captured bolts are canted and I can't get their torx key to align with the head. But I just widened them myself with a drill. This is the cleanest looking rack out there tho and gives you a hoist point for removing the hard top

This rack has worked out great! Was a hiccup initially when receiving the item as two of the same side rails was packaged instead of one driver, one passenger. After contacting Teraflex, they shipped one out immediately (no charge). Also, if you are installing this on an earlier model Jeep JKU, you will need different bases for the front of the rack as they only ship/package with ones for the newer models of the JKUs (not sure if they’ve changed this or not). Calling or messaging Teraflex through their website is all it takes. They sent those out immediately at no charge to myself. Was aggravated with those couple issues but dealing with Teraflex was a pleasure! As for the rack itself, it is very sturdy. Installation takes some time but is very doable for one person. It is a nice option to buy the rails and slats separately that way you can decide to just get two or three slats if needed/wanted instead of paying the additional cost for the pack of six. Also, don’t have that initially price tag of around $1500 that you will see with comparable racks. We would definitely buy another Teraflex Nebo rack if we find ourselves with another Jeep! The company has been a pleasure to deal with and the products are quality!

Great quality and very sturdy. The install took about 8 hours but I essentially did the work without assistance. With another set of capable hands the install could have gone much quicker. About 4 hours after I got done we got a heavy rain and there were no leaks so I’m confident all the rubber gaskets and o-rings are doing their job.

Can’t say anything negative about this roof rack other than I was short on plastic O-Rings and some washers but I managed to get some from y toll box. It’s great for its price and bolts straight to your steel frame. Tips: Make sure your Jeep is 2011 and up, this is a perfect fit. If you’re an older model up to 2010 you’ll need a different size on the putter front plastic edges ( not sure what they’re called lol) When you drill the holes on your hard top, use your tape measure and start from ( side to side. 2” ——-46” same on rear ) this will give you perfect drill points. Took me about 8 hours cause I had to do it alone and flex the roof all by my self. Your satélite antena, needs to be disconnected and put facing the front on the top, this is something I had to YouTube. Took me a bit to figure it out. Have fun and enjoy folks
