We had previously been using the travel plug when here and could not charge above 15A, so it was a pain and required lots of planning to make sure we were topped off since the closest fast charge is a bit far from where we're at. Installation using the dryer plug in the garage was a breeze (we bought an additional splitter apparatus so that we don't have to unplug one to use the other). As a test, I did get this to 48A on the included cord and it did get warm, but never HOT. At 40A it didn't even get very warm. The app is super easy to use and has great features and reporting. For the price, this gets you a lot of the features of the premium charger at a fraction of the cost, so this is a great buy. ... show more

You can use it to charge both Teslas (with the included adapter), or a wide variety of other EV vehicles. Whether using the built in controls or the app, this charger is very easy to use. So far this charger has performed flawlessly. The 25' cable provides plenty of length, and it has a thick, heavy duty construction that we hope won't be susceptible to the summer heat, which is a problem we've encountered with previous chargers in the past. It'd also be appropriate for something like an office or warehouse. I have this installed at one of my warehouses as more of my employees are driving EVs these days.
