... show more

I love this machine! We were spending way too much at SB and I decided to save money with a home espresso machine. This machine has been reliable and easy to use. You can level up your game by adding a nicer tamper, funnel, coffee ground stirrer, and puck screen. I bought these add ons at a 51mm size and they fit the Tenker portafilter. I can make my AM coffee very quickly and with almost no mess now. I mainly drink iced coffee so I haven’t used the frother much, but it’s getting colder, so I’ll be switching to hot coffee soon enough. I’m very happy with this purchase and the price. For me, it paid for itself after about 2 months of skipping weekend SB runs. ... show more

    • Unit broke after a few months
Color: Silver
I ordered this machine for my sister for Christmas. For the first few months it worked great and she loved it. Then in April the water tank started leaking and the machine was not able to make coffee. I did contact customer support and provided the photos and videos they required for proof of the broken device and was told "at this time, our assigned team informed us that we need to wait for a response from our technical engineer regarding this issue. Once we receive an update, we will promptly get back to you with the next steps" After that I heard nothing back, zero response. Very disappointed in this product. Save your money and buy a different espresso machine ... show more

    • Powerful, elegant and with great flavor
Color: Silver
I'm very satisfied with this espresso machine. It has good pressure (20 bar), which is noticeable in the coffee's flavor: intense, with a good crema, and very similar to what you'd get in a coffee shop. It's easy to use even if you don't have much experience, and the design is modern and attractive; it looks great in the kitchen. It also heats up quickly and allows you to prepare various drinks like espresso, cappuccino, or latte. Cleaning is simple, and the materials feel high-quality. As a side note, it might take a little practice at first to get the perfect brew, but once you get the hang of it, the results are excellent. ... show more

    • Still getting the hang of the milk frother, but I love this little espresso maker!

This is my first espresso make and I love it! I have been avoiding espresso for a long time as I've always been scared of the jittery effects of caffeine. I went out on a limb and decided I wanted to try out espresso so I went with the TENKER Express Machine and fell in love! I also learned that espresso has less caffeine than regular drip coffee so that made me feel a lot better. The espresso machine was easy to set up and it took no time at all to heat up. It was a very quick process to clean for the first time use. You can brew single or double shots of espresso, lattes and cappuccinos. It comes equipped with a milk frother for lattes and cappuccinos. There is a dial available where you can control the amount of milk added to your latte or cappuccino. I have loved playing with this espresso maker and am enjoying making my coffee drinks in the mornings when I need a little pick me up with my breakfast. I do have some small issues with this though. I had an issue with this feature as it seems to add a lot of milk to my latte and cappuccino regardless of where I set the dial. I have it set to the least amount of milk and it seems to empty the entire amount of milk that I poured into reservoir that holds the milk. I am still playing around with that feature so it may just be user error here. I will update this review when I've figured out how to get my desired amount of milk to come out. I have also had an issue with the espresso grounds being very wet when throwing them out. It seems like the holes in the filter are verrrrry small. They seem to be so small that the water is not able to fully flow through. I made sure to purchase espresso coffee grounds that are specifically made for espresso makers. This is something that I am still working with and I will report back when I figure out the fix. Overall, this espresso maker has been a great addition to my coffee area and routine in making a great tasting coffee drinks to my liking! If you love espresso, this would be a great addition for your coffee area, too! ... show more

    • Awesome Customer Service!! Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte Machine - updated
Color: Silver
This machine made a great cup of Cappuccino just like I had had in Italy. I first totally read the manual. Then, I did some trial and error when making our first cups of cappuccino. The espresso part is easy. When making Cappuccino, the higher you turn the steam dial, the more frothed milk you get. I found putting the dial in the middle on a medium setting was probably the best for not overflowing a 4oz. Cappuccino cup. Read the Manual for appropriate cup size for each different type of coffee. Update - within a month, I removed my water tank and the water previously left inside all came running out of the bottom. The spring plug at the bottom of the water container broke. I can still use it as long as I don’t remove it with water in it. I have to leave it in the machine when I add water. Review Update December 6, 2024: The Teneker Company saw my comment about the Spring breaking in my water compartment. They emailed and said they were sending me a new compartment. Then a week later, they emailed again and said they were sending me a whole new unit! I received it today!! What great customer service!! ... show more

    • Makes Great Tasting Coffees
Color: Silver
Used it1st time today! Made a Cappuccino. SO EASY, VERY TASTY, MEASUREMENTS PERFECT. Someone else stated the froth doesn't measure out correctly and that no matter what amount you choose the froth empties out completely. That did not happen to me. I made my coffee choice as to how strong. I chose the amount of froth. It came out perfect and very flavorful! The machine choices light up very nicely. The machine is so nice looking. Looks like a very expensive machine, while being nice and compact. Seems quite sturdy as well. The fact that it makes the froth for you is an awesome added feature! Yes, it is loud while steaming. I expected that because all espresso machines do this at this point. Now, I've only used it once. Let's hope my good experience continues. To be able to use it so easily right out of the box was an absolute plus for me! I guess, at this point, I would recommend this machine. Very fast shipping also. ... show more
