Im honestly very disappointed, I bought this less than a year ago and only used it a handful of times. First off, the controller box is made extremely cheap and is not waterproof, I used the winch once and the rope unspooled becauseof how poorlyit was mounted, after remounting it, it worked fine, then the rain ruined the controller box. I had to buy a new controller box for another hundred. After getting the newer, better box it was working fine, only used it 5 more times or so, and now the clutch isnt working on it, I was stuck in the woods all day yesterday cutting logs and using a floor jack to get my truck unstuck. If the company helps me fix the winch without me having to buy more parts for it I will change my rating.

UPDATE REVIEW- I ended up taking it off the trailer and placing it on our 2010 Jeep Wrangler, not for any reason other than I got a heavier 15k winch for the trailer. ORIGINAL REVIEW This is more compact than a few other brands, making it fit perfectly in the space we have on our open tilt deck car hauler. Having the cordless remote control is awesome when single handed loading a disabled vehicle. I can be in the driver seat steering and winching at the same time, I also have a remote for the tilt deck so loading time is cut in 1/2 when by myself. The orange textured powder coating is fairly thick and so far enduring well in full outdoor and road grime exposure. I have zero complaints about its performance it works as designed, just make sure you have the synthetic winch line sleeved and protected if it will be rubbing on something while in use, or it will fray and possibly break. But a much safer option than using steel cable. Great product I would definitely order again!

Nice setup and the quality is there too. It came with two wireless remote controls and a wired remote. The provided bag of hardware helps in getting the right size nuts and bolts and insures weaker nuts, bolts are not used in the installation. It’s definitely made to be sitting outside in the weather for years to come with the occasional use when off roading. It does however have a slip cover to place over the unit that will keep weather away for quite awhile as well. The instructions are informative and easy to read and understand and the pictures definitely will help me in its installation and the wiring. There also is a telephone number and email address if needed for more details and information. Comes with a synthetic rope and the proper line out hook plate. I didn’t find any cheap materials and the plastics used are very heavy duty just like all the metals. They have been coated properly for protection from rust and other contaminants and just minimal maintenance will be required to keep everything in tip top shape ready for use. Very nice and complete setup. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Before this wench my experience is limited. But with that being said i think this wench is a great buy! I put it on my truck, i have smaller size but average truck. I wanted it incase i got stuck somewhere as i have been off-roading a bit. Installation wasn’t hard, simple tools needed. Just pay attention to the drawings, other than that you shouldn’t have a hard time figuring it out. Ive had it a few months now and i must say it works so well. I was blocked by a small tree that i didnt want to blow my back out on so i use the wench and it worked perfectly. I have also pulled out a small stump in my yard with it. I’m extremely pleased with this wench, it has stood the test of time and rain as the rainy season in my area just ended and it still works. I would highly recommend this product if youre in the market.

i have had this for a while now and have used it a few times. It has some interesting flaws. One its not even close to being a "13000 lbs" pull rating. Now maybe 3000 lbs, but it could not get my jeep off a rock it was high-centered on. also twisted the metal band around the end of the rope. The mounting bolts that came with it bent. One of the bolts holding the cross bars fell out. The rope is fraying. My bettery cables are 0/1 and the run from the battery to the winch is less than 2 feet. this is my 3rd winch from them and i am not sure why this one is not as good as the others but the others are much much smaller for pulling race cars in and out of my trailers and there only rated to 4500 lbs, and they pull a 3k lbs race car just fine, so i thought buying a 13000 lbs winch for a 3k lbs jeep would be over kill and work great. I guess i was wrong!
