Bought this rod spring 2022. I was excited to get this rod to try Euro Nymphing. First trout caught the tip section broke; after about 5 casts with rod. TFO was very nice and sent me a replacement rod tip section. I fished with it about 4 times and the rod tip broke again when I hooked a large brown trout. I heard a loud crack when it broke, like a branch breaking. I'm waiting for TFO to see if it is covered under warranty. This rod makes casting small Euro flies easier and has very nice sensitivity (I can feel hits and fly hitting bottom); for this I give the rod a 5. However, the durability of this rod is awful and I give it a 0. Average score is 3. ... show more
