My 3080 arrived covered in a stick residue, it had a refreshing smell, but i had no idea what it was. there was multiple scratches on the heat sink aswell.

I bought this for a brand new build; my first ever build. Packaging was clean, it was shipped immediately, and came well before the forecasted delivery date. At first, my display wouldn't work. When opening the package, the graphics card was covered in a white oily substance and smelled funny. When putting it in the computer, it died within 5 minutes of boot.
