I currently have plantar fasciitis and this board was recommended on one of the forum pages, to easily and effectively stretch calves. It works quite well for that -- you can really feel your calves stretching when standing on it. I also like that it's adjustable so you can work up to a steeper setting. I put it in the family room so I can watch TV while standing on it. The built-in handle is a nice feature too, for keeping both halves together when carrying it. The gritty surface is good for keeping your shoes or bare feet from slipping down. However, you will slip down if you're in your stocking feet or loose fitting slippers.

I LOVE this slant board. It's helped me to strengthen my knees and the muscles around them with much less pain than I was able to do just doing normal squats. This one was also a nice sweet spot in price between the cheapest versions (which I found generally were very unstable), and the more expensive ones that worked exactly like this one, but just cost more.

Its’s sturdy and solidly built. Folds up nicely and slides under the bed when you aren’t using it and has a handle for carrying.
