This item isn't the name brand but I feel like it gives me a good idea of what the name brand is. Sure, this product is supposedly noisier which Indeed it is but, I feel the burn, it gets me active, it seems strudy like it will last a little while, it is fun to use as well. This is a plastic material with a weight that's attached to the plastic ring that clips around your waist. The ring has removable links dependent upon what size your waist is with the goal being to lose weight and in turn removing links. The color is a pale sky blue. Overall, especially for the price (in comparison to the original brand name) I would probably buy this again but I think it is sturdy enough to last a while. I am trying to keep on a regimen of 5min per hula hoop session. As I gain more muscle and become healthier I will hold myself to a higher standard. Also, its a nice tool to throw on and use while watching TV ads and waiting for your favorite show to come on...regardless of whatever pathway you take, remember, you will get there one step at a time- wish you all luck on your weight loss/muscle gain/healthy transitions.

Couldn’t wait to get it out the box and try it, but there are issues. It was easy to put together, but the ball/weight thing keeps getting caught and stops going around after 1 rotation. I hope that taking out some weight will help, but you need a tiny screwdriver like an eyeglass screwdriver to open the ball to get the sand out, and they don’t send one; the chances of you having an eyeglass screwdriver are slim, so, now I have to go try to buy one somewhere to open the ball up and hope that this fixes the “catching” issue.

Very fun product. I enjoy it. Still questioning do this actually works for a smaller waist line? I will see eventually. The adjustability is good. It's very sturdy. The weighted ball is not heavy at all.. easy tocolor pink is pretty, very vibrant. The only problem is it's really noisy.

I loved hula hoops as as kid and this is just as fun! It's easy to get the perfect fit with the adjustable track. For me it works best when it fits snugly over a shirt; I get a great workout with minimal skin irritation. If you have long hair, make sure to tie up your hair so it isn't in the way of the track. The hoop is super stable and stays secure when using it, but it is still easy to take on and off. I love this weighted hula hoop!

Works great! Kind of loud but it works. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Can easily add or remove links. Feels stable. I would suggest tying the weight a few times to ease the mind of it not potentially flying off. Comfortable to use. Once you get the motion going it glides nicely and stays stable. It comes in several cute colors too.
