  • Seems to be helping
Easy, convenient and very clever. Pain has diminished some. Only been a couple of weeks. Expecting great things.

  • Does the job
This is a fairly priced option for back relief. It is very easy to use it and is very effective. I don’t like that I have to keep my arms locked out to get a good stretch but it beats paying to go to a chiropractor weekly

This is an awesome product. I gave this three stars for only one reason, the support that goes behind your knees. The support is essential, the other device the "Shark Tank Lady" advertises on TV doesn't have it and it slides up your legs. The problem as I see it is, if you are short, it doesn't fit behind your knees properly. As a result I had to modify my P2 in order to make it fit. If Teeter were a really responsive company they would take this information and offer various lengths of the behind the knees support for smaller adults and children. Amazingly enough not just tall people have back problems and pain. The concept is far superior to the competition, had it fit me properly I would have given it 5 stars. Hopefully Teeter will see this and take my advice into consideration and make an effective device of all sizes of back sufferers. ... show more

  • Poor design makes it a failure
Extremely disappointed considering I've used the P3 version which is adjustable... this is not. I'm 5 ' 11" and the kneepad section is too short and thus you cannot place the lap pads at your hip joint. TEETER's instructional video states that "If the lap pads sit too far down your legs, then decompression is NOT possible." So I have wasted money on this item. A SIMPLE fix to this is simply to make the knee pad rod longer and ADJUSTABLE like the P3 was, so that it would position better and sit the lap pads properly. I honestly advise you to look elsewhere than considering this product unless youre under 5 feet or short legged or something. ... show more

  • Instant relief
The stretch you feel in the lower back while using this is one of the best feelings you can ask for.

  • What a fantastic (and small) investment that REALLY WORKS!
Love it! Suffered a severe MVA and required multiple surgeries including a neck fusion with titanium cage. I used to have a Teeter Handguns inversion table which I absolutely loved, but under doctor's orders can no longer do any kind of inversion (including yoga head stands, etc.). In fact, even lying flat on my bed with my head hanging off the side makes my legs go numb from the knees down. It's a real bummer since inversion therapy was so relaxing and therapeutic. I discovered this Teeter Back Stretcher while researching info on a similar item. I stumbled across it, and knowing the quality of Teeter products, reading the reviews and description of the product, decided to give it a try. I have intractable chronic pain in my neck as well as lower lumbar back directly due to injuries sustained in the car accident, and thought this might be worth the small investment. I'm SO glad I did! The Teeter Back Stretcher really does give a good, pain-free stretch to much needed areas in the lumbar spine, lower back and hip/glute/oblique areas that even yoga & Pilates couldn't reach (I say this as someone trained and certified in advanced levels of both disciplines). After the accident, I was required to modify any physical activity according to what my body can tolerate. Typical of Teeter products,, the machine is well-constructed, sturdy and looks/feels high quality, while the price is extremely reasonable. It also does exactly what the company says it will do. They don't promise miraculous results, just relief if the equipment is used faithfully and according to instructions. I have found that to be an accurate representation and highly recommend this item and vendor to anyone! (Check with your medical provider first before embarking on any health regimen, particularly if you, like myself, have a pre-existing injury.). ... show more

  • Glad that I purchased this Teeter product - continue after immediate pain has subsided
I am trying this before purchasing an inversion table. I am 70 years old and have become prone to occasional back and hip problems. The doctors have suggested that an inversion table may give me ongoing relief, but I fear that I will get the machine, use it for a while, and then the machine will eventually live in my space without being used. May even become a tripping hazard. I saw this gizmo on Amazon by a Teeter, and felt that it was worth a try. While it is not expected to give the same results as an inversion machine, this gives a little stretch to my lower back. When I use it consistently, I do not have back problems. The difficulty is continuity. When I start feeling better, I do not always continue with the routine of stretching. That is my issue, not the stretcher’s. I would suggest trying it if you have minor back pain or just to use to maintain a good back. ... show more
