For the price this unit feels well made and comes with plenty of hardware to install in a standard door. It has bare bones features but I don’t mind that at all, I didn’t need a lock connected to the Internet. The instructions are in understandable English, with only a few errors. One error is on initial learning, the instructions say to press reset and wait for a beep prior to inserting the fourth battery. The beep never happens. Instead just be sure to hold the reset and go ahead and insert the fourth battery. You’ll hear the lock calibrate and then beep. Another thing the instructions say is that you’ll know the battery is low when the battery light comes on. Thing is, there is NO battery light that I can find. So I’m guessing the main light under the keypad will just blink red a lot when the time comes. As far as looks, it is quite modern and I’ll be upgrading my door handle to match it. The keypad buttons feel sturdy and light up nicely. I do wish the keypad panel came with a rubber gasket to help with keeping water out. Update: I was experiencing a lot of friction (the thumbturn is hard to turn, or the motor will not move the deadbolt), despite the deadbolt moving freely before I installed the mounting plate. It was baffling why the final steps of mounting were causing friction. After a lot of trial and error I discovered that the mounting screws are threading themselves into the metal of the deadbolt holes. The mounting screws should pass through them, but instead were threading themselves into the deadbolt, therefore causing the deadbolt to get misaligned. The misalignment causes friction for the deadbolt and can even cause the unit to not function properly. Once I realized this was happening, it was easy to avoid if you know what to look for.

I am extremely disappointed with both Teeho and Amazon. I had one teeho purchased earlier, thought it was good, so I ordered a second. They sent me a used lock. It still had white paint and markings of previous installation. There were scratches and oil like smudges. The two inner screws were missing and someone replaced one with a tapping screw. They mistakenly packed two dead bolts and NO dead bolt strike plate. One dead bolt was even rusty. Someone had tried to remove the serial number sticker. The box was dirty inside, and the packaging to hold items in place was missing. What makes me mad is assumption that refund is ok (I didn’t need the money, I needed the lock, that why I was buying in the first place!!) and even worse is that replacement means more LOST TIME on unplanned reschedule… and my work is not at UPS store returning items!!! I was mad… and my OCD says I will be mad for the next one month!!!
