I love this lock in general. But it has one lie and two weaknesses. I wanted to give it a three-star but I gave it a four-star instead because it works much better than the August smart lock I bought before. The lie is about the time needed for installation. The website here said it took only 20 minutes to install the lock. It is a lie!!! The company must be thinking about people who make a living on lock installments when saying that. It took me more than one hour and a half to uninstall my original lock and then install this new lock. It took me another half an hour to figure out how to add fingerprints and then ten minutes to set up the auto lock. It was not because I had zero prior experience. I actually installed and uninstalled two smart locks before on the same door. The first weakness is that I had to figure out how to add fingerprints myself as the box did not contain specific instructions on that. I am disappointed since this product is specially advertised as a "fingerprint deadbolt." The instruction just asks me to follow the steps on the App. However, the App does not provide enough information on how to do the setup. I tried for more than half an hour and failed. I have no idea when to place and move my finger. The lock keeps beeping but I have no idea what the beeping means. A friend of mine has an earlier version of the lock (probably 002) and she told me she got received detailed instructions on how to set up fingerprints. Why does the company stop providing such helpful instructions for the most recent/advanced/expensive version? I just kept trying. I realized I could just quickly place and remove the same finger four times. It worked! But come on. The company could save me half an hour if it simply adds JUST ONE SENTENCE (that is, QUICKLY place and remove the same figure four times) to the instructions and the App. The second weakness is related to Auto Lock. The app has 5 seconds listed at the top of the delay time list and uses 5 seconds as the default. So I thought 5 seconds should work and I seriously prefer 5 seconds. The shorter, the safer. However, when I tried to set up auto lock using 5 seconds, I failed again and again. I had no idea why I failed. The App kept telling me to put in a number between 10 and 999. So I turned to the keyboard to put in a number between that range. However, I failed again and again. It took me some minutes to realize the App actually asked me to put in a number between 10 and 999 as the delay time. So why? If the App accepts only 10 seconds as the shortest delay time, why the App lists 5 seconds as the very first option? If 5 seconds do not work, please just remove this option. I actually prefer having 5 seconds as one option. Again, the shorter the time, the safer. Oh, mine. It took me half an hour to write this review. I hope the company will address the three issues I raised here. Be more honest and transparent and provide us detailed instructions. ... show more

Installed this lock according to the instructions. Lock would not engage. Found installation video on YouTube which shows how to adjust the length of the deadbolt depending on your door and that fixed my problem. Once installed it works great. Love the various ways I can use this lock. One thing I don't understand, I use the auto lock feature and I manually lock the door yo save on battery life but it still tries to auto lock it. It looks nice and I like the option of the app, finger print, key fob, and that you don’t have to remove anything if you want to use the actual key, as well as the keypad. This door lock is great in every aspect. But the most impressive is the most efficient use of the battery power. I have a comparable Schlage but without fingerprint reader, that I use less frequently and I have replaced the batteries 3 times on it, while the TEEHO TE007 Smart Lock still shows 95% of battery remaining with more than double use. 😉 ... show more

Installed the lock and so far it has been working as expected. However the lock does require a new hole drilled through the door to secure the two halves together. It does come with a template to line up that hole correctly. It will take more than just a screwdriver to install and if not satisfied with the lock, you will have an extra hole through the door. ... show more
