Great product for this price, this skateboard is still being used to this day. This board has great DURABILITY and is very smooth and the price is amazing I love this board so much I could not complain I would suggest this board for beginner riders and great for kids too

Im new to skateboarding and bought this one as my first real skateboard. I got it today in the mail (on time) and took it for a test ride and here's what i think so far: 1: Deck itself is a good, sturdy deck, a little bit on the heavier side but i think that's mostly due to the decks. 2: The trucks are decent but a bit loose. I got minor wheel bite. But tightening them should fix it. 3: The wheels are Polyurethane and not plastic like walmart boards. 4: The bearings aren't the best, when i took it out of the box the nut was tightened too tight and prevented them from spinning, a skateboard tool would be handy. But even when loosening the nut, the wheels didn't spin for more than 5 seconds, when i rode it i got a good 10-15 feet per kick. 5: The grip tape has amazing grip but peels a bit easy so it may have to be replaced later on. 6: The graphic also peels a bit easy but since its in the bottom it shouldn't be too much of a bother, it also comes with riser 1/8" hardware. In general it's an overall decent board for begginers. A lot better than walmart boards in my opinion. Sturdy deck and decent trucks, bearings and wheels. I'm new to skateboarding so in my opinion it's a good starter board but if you're not new to skateboarding like me, i suggest getting a better quality board or if yoy decide to get this one you'll have to change the bearings and grip tape eventually. One thing i didn't like was that one of the bearings was an ABEC 7 and from a different brand (the rest were Krown ABEC 9s). And yes, this IS a KROWN skateboard. First and foremost, if you are looking to learn how to skateboard, don't buy this board. If you already know how to and are looking for a new setup, Don't buy this board. Are you looking for something with a cool graphic to hang on your wall as a decoration piece? go ahead and buy this board. This is just like the Walmart boards from back in the day that lasted a couple of days and then became unusable. I would not recommend this for ANYONE trying to learn or continue developing their skating skills. I specifically bought this to hang on my wall and I still regret it. It came scratched up while it's supposed to be "brand new". Do yourself a favor, go to your local skate shop and buy a nice deck. UPDATE: I have completely disassembled the board to truly get a look into the quality. Trucks and wheels are junk. These trucks are not even standard and in order to looses/tighten them you need an alan key? very unusual. The grip tape for the board is extremely low quality and was able to peel off with barely any heat. And the deck itself is actually made out of the lowest quality plywood. the board looks fine on the wall but please be aware this is more of a decoration piece than a durable skateboard. ... show more

For under $40 the board rolls great. Made in china, almost of course. I'd planned to get an SCSK8 board assembled in the US and let the kid cover it in his own stickers. He SOOOOO loved the graphics on this I relented but will probably get the SCSK8 for me to ride with him. Anyhow, this board has VERY stiff bushings so it's tough for my 6yr olds 70lbs of body to turn it until we both loosened the nut ~and~ I put my extra 100lbs of weight on the bushings to start loosening them up. If you like a board the turns tight circles you'll probably have to change out the bushings though we'll see if these break in better. We tightened the wheels up a bit to help my tall 6 year old learn his balance. The wheels have a very light 'banded' texture to them- I'd expect they'd be smooth. I expect it will wear off quickly, though. The board has a pronounced curve to the center, presumably to aid doing flips. It doesn't seem to inhibit his ability to feel comfortable finding his footing and probably helps him be able to get it to turn due to the extra leverage. The tape is grippy- doesn't feel overly so but I haven't ridden a skateboard like this in 25 years, so what do I know about rating grip tape? =D ... show more

Not bad for the money but not for an adult or slightly advanced skater. Truck bushings are a little soft so it turns very easily. After landing a few tricks the tail started to separate. The wood feels more like birch than maple to me. Comes with a couple stickers you can but on there which is cool.

Cool skateboard that was fun to ride. Only complaint is the deck broke in half about 3 hours into use, I’m a pretty big guy so I don’t think many other people will have this issue though.
