  • Change your Airens 12v starter over to 120v
Worked great on an older Airens that had a 12v starter that we never used because the battery was always dead when we wanted to use it…. Easy replacement and started a large Briggs motor right up.

  • Fit up perfectly.
The unit worked perfectly. The old starter had broken teeth and was not starting my snowblower. Bought this right before our first real snow storm of the year and it fires right up now. I had to take off the gas tank to get to the starter location on my snowblower, but everything was in an accessible location for quick installation. I believe it took less than 30 minutes total. Great product so far. ... show more

  • DB ELECTRICAL STARTER-ALTERNATOR. Good Service Fast Shipping
DB ELECTRICAL STARTER-ALTERNATOR Co. Good Service Fast Shipping. The unit comes with new mounting hardware and a Grounded Electrical Cord well packaged. The install was easy, but a little cold on the fingers. You will need a metric open end wrench to lock up the lower mounting bolts.I seen on YouTube that it also a good Idea to use a little Blue Loctite on the bolts.Always disconnect the Plug wire before starting the install. A tip on any of these Electric Starters. I think it is a good idea to always give the manual start a few short pulls before using the Electric Starter, This will free up the fly wheel should it be tight from sitting around between Snow Falls and all summer long. If you have never worked on a Snow-blower check out donyboy73 on You Tube, Here is one of his videos on the SB electric starter. On the Toro machine I also removed the Gas Tank and Gas Tank mounting Bracket to give me easy access to the two top starter mounting bolts. On some machines the lower bolts are 3/8s bolts others they are Metric. The new hardware that came with my replacement Starter is Metric. see one of his SB videos here [...] ... show more

  • Easy fix
Do I replace my snowblower or the starter. Well with the turn of a few screws and a few bolts my old snowblower was as good as new. Yes, who doesn’t want a new machine, but if you’re a working person this is an easier and much cheaper option. It’s really not difficult to replace. If you can open and close a jar then you can easily do this ... show more

  • Easy to install and worked well
My starter died as i was putting my snowblower away for the season. The replacement that just failed had been used for 10 years and was the same as this one so bought another one . Installed easily and started the blower fine. I can only hope it will last as long but time will tell. Live in southern New England so dosen't get that much use. As someone else noted, the extension cord supplied does not fit into the receptical of the starter. The cord end is too large. I can use the existing cord I had but if you need to use the cord that comes with it you will have to modify it or buy another cord. ... show more

  • Good value replacement blower starter so far / read update
Shipped fast, install was easy, a third of the cost of the original Toro starter. Three reasons why only 4 stars. 1. Motor mounting bracket holes were a tighter tolerance than orig motor patience and it was all good, used 1 new screw and 1 old seemed to fit best. 2. Switch box on top is at a slight angle where orig was straight all works fine so why bother drilling a new hole does not effect function at all. 3. Fired right up but not sold on durability yet, snow is gone for awhile 🤗 so we'll have to update that aspect at a later date. Update... Dec 21. Will not engage motor only 5 starts then went out. ... show more
