The most difficult part of setting up this swing was finding a tree that would work for it. It was super easy to assemble, very sturdy, durable and cute. My daughter has been on it most of the summer already and thinks it's just the coolest thing that we have a tree swing. It's a fun activity for kids for sure!

We recently lost a large willow tree, and a lovely wooden tree swing that went with it. There was something special about being able to sit in that swing overlooking the pond, and feel what it was like to be a kid again. I was thrilled when I saw this teak wood swing being offered, knowing the durability and longevity of teak wood. It does say that the swing itself is oil-rubbed, requiring no painting or sealants. I find that to be a nice feature, even though a small part of me wonders how the wood will hold up without some sort of sealant. Good to know that sanding will refresh the wood, as needed! I also appreciate that the swing can hold up to 500lbs, as I know the little ones in our extended family will be climbing all over this swing later this summer, and hopefully some of the adults will have a chance to enjoy it, too! For the durability of the teak wood, I think this is a fair price for this swing, and all the installation pieces that are included in the kit. The wood is beautiful.

Great swing! The wood is silky smooth, no splinters or sharp edges. It is very sturdy - I had no problem swing with a grandchild in my lap, and it wasn't stressed at all. The hardware is high quality, and will stand up well to weather. It is very roomy - In felt like a kid again sitting on it. It looks just perfect in the back yard if my old farmhouse. This swing has no safety straps or bars, so children must be old enough and large enough to have a secure grip on the ropes. Putting it up was very simple; just had to select a good strong branch, and then it went up quickly. Love it!

It has taken me a bit of time to review this. I have another similar swing which is hanging at my daughter's desk in her room in her loft. While I like this is teak wood, the straps could be longer for adjusting wether it's a shorter ceiling loft bed or a higher branch for a tree. The product does not command a current price of $49 until the straps remedied (teak or no teak).

This swing is very strong and sturdy, and it came with clear instructions which helps me to install easy, It’s quality of the wood and ropes is great. I was thinking to hang it indoors in our basement but unfortunately the straps are not adjustable so I could not able to set it up correctly. It would work perfectly for an outdoor. Overall it’s beautiful, high quality swing but ensure if you are planning to install indoor you may need adjustable straps.

This is a sturdy and well-made swing. I got this to replace a similar swing that had split. This one is better made looks wonderful in my front yard and holds up perfectly. It’s a great size. It’s a simple and somehow elegant design and very easy to install.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The actual product here is super high quality; the ropes are overkill on weight, the clamps are great stainless items, and the board is well made with grommets built in. But the overall design of the swing is severely lacking. First of all, the tree straps are so small that any limb you could hope to fit them over would be too thin to be a safe option for swinging, even with young kids. I ended up buying a tree strap kit that did the job nicely. Next, the way the rope feeds through the board has led to constant issues where the board is unlevel and the kids don't want to sit on it. I'm going to modify this swing to where my kids can enjoy it, but if you're looking for a one-stop item I think you'll be disappointed unless you have the Yankee ingenuity to McGuyver it into something that works.
