Someone had given me a ton of bulbs and I didn’t know what to do. I purchased this kit and wasn’t expecting much when I got was one bit that was too huge to do anything with and one that was just right. I planted 250 bulbs in around four hours. It was perfect.

I have used this bit on several occasions and can testify that it is made of some very tough steel. I have hit rocks and roots of all descriptions and yet I have not seen any damage . A very effective yet easy way to apply granular tree or shrub fertilizer. It is way faster than digging holes or a trench with a shovel. I recommend a plus in 110V. or a 18V. battery powered variable speed driver/drill. use a slow speed and pull the bit back out every two inches to clear soil, roots. Otherwise you may just bury the bit using a drilling speed. ... show more

Didn't hold up when used in rocky soil with an impact drill driver. The spiral auger was welded to the rod only in two places, the front and the back. The welds broke after a few hours of use, making the auger useless (since I don't have a welder).
