I've had 4 surgeries in 2 years for neck and back problems. I let my three acres go pretty wild. This machine is awesome. Clean up is going great and I am amazed how fast i can accomplish task with this machine. Very helpful agents sent pdf manuals and assembly documentation. I wish they'd have mentioned the black fuel cut off valve behind the black carburetor. Assembly of this thing without it running is a b B. Once i figured it out all has been good. 6 hours on the machine and it runs well. Be careful and practice awhile in a safe area away from things you dont want broke until you get the hang of it. The metal top seems optional but has saved me from getting hurt from branches flying etc twice now. ... show more

The machine itself is great. I removed the canopy because it is pretty much useless and shakes violently. Had a few issues with shipping, one of which I only found out after a couple months of ownership. The first shipping issue: The boom didn't come with the excavator. It was missing from the crate. I reached out to the company and got a replacement sent, but that took about a month extra. It did arrive before my Amazon return cutoff. The second issue, and I only noticed this yesterday: The auger is useless because it didn't come with the proper fittings and hoses. I got 1x M18R-M16H adapter and 1x M16 hydraulic hose to attach it, but it requires 2. Good luck sourcing parts for this, everywhere I have looked these are special order. The auger is unfortunately just not usable for me. Overall the machine is awesome, I use it a lot and it does great work, but the missing parts from original shipping and the inability to source replacement parts is a real pain. ... show more

I had to pick my unit up myself. The freight company sucked. Very poor customer service. They were difficult to deal with, so I finally gave up and picked it up myself. I was horrified when they brought it out of the warehouse. The crate was damaged so badly that things had fallen out. Thankfully the forklift driver took the time to pick the items up and put them on top of the crate. They asked if I wanted to refuse it. I thought about it and decided to take it anyway. This is a peice of equipment and I expected it was probably fine. My only fear was that parts could be missing. I got it home and started to remove the crate. It pretty much fell apart. The plastic wrap was holding it together, which was a miracle beyond belief. The unit and parts did not suffer much. There were a few scratches. I inventoried everthing that I had. The packet with the screw package for the joystick controls, 4 nuts for the canopy, and the pin for the thumb were was the only thing missing. The only real damage was to the alien brackets. I bent them back into shape and repainted them. Good as almost new. Hydraulic fluid was low, so I had to add about a gallon. Considering the distance this thing traveled, I am surprised it wasn't a total wreck. Thank you Digmaster, it runs and performs as it should so far. ... show more

Machine arrived in roughly 30 days In good condition, packed nicely Received auger,ripper,mud bucket, thumb and quick connect. Did not receive rake attachment. Attempted to contact seller regarding rake attachment and no response. Contacted Amazon and was told the attachment was on it's way but couldn't provide a tracking number....that was over 2 months ago...what's up? I paid for the rake attachment and never received it. I purchased the machine mainly for demolition and grading, rake is a big part of that I like the machine, and it performs well so far, but can't get anywhere in regards to the absent rake attachment. Frustrating!! After my initial review, I was contacted by a Digmaster rep. The rep explained that they were previously unaware that the missing attachments had been lost in shipping. Parts were shipped out same day and I received them a few short days later. Thanks Digmaster! All is well. ... show more

Mixed feelings. The machine is perfect for what I want. I'm 70 and use it on my 10 acres. I can't pick up and carry things or use a shovel like I could several years ago. The only issue I have is the delay receiving the extra attachments. It took a couple of chats with Amazon before I received tracking numbers. Amazon was great helping me. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the machine. It's not designed for heavy construction use but perfect for small farm work. ... show more
