So, as a few reviews mentioned, there are a couple parts of this item which don’t have the best durability. As shown in my picture, the first use the ice scraper portion snapped during the storm last weekend. It was a Boston storm and the snow was very heavy but I was overly careful with the scraper as much as possible. I reached out to their customer service and I have a replacement in the mail not 2 days later. Literally best costumer service I’ve ever dealt with. The product itself is extremely well designed, otherwise. The length is great, the ergonomic padded handles make it very easy/comfortable to use, the brush is well designed, and the ability to break it into separate pieces is something you never knew you needed. Plus, the bag they provide with it makes storage extremely easy and it keeps the wet out of the back of my truck. I suppose these things can only be so durable for the money and the actual product type. Either way, rest assured that if something does happen to it, you’re only an email away from getting some help. Hope this helps you make an informed purchase!

The first scraper sent to me had obviously been opened by someone else since it was not in any kind of packaging but just put in the shipping box. It could not be assembled because of what appeared to be a manufacturing defect or damage caused by the first purchaser. I contacted AstroAl by email for a replacement end piece. They answered me the next day but didn't understand the defect and gave me an incorrect suggestion on how to fix it. So I returned the scraper to Amazon and received a replacement in a couple days. The replacement was in the original packaging and assembled perfectly. I have used it several times already and it works great. The long handle allows me to reach the top of my truck. I definitely recommend it for anyone needing a long reach for a truck or full sized SUV.

Update: I changed my review from 3 to 5 stars solely based on AstroAI product support. They fully refunded my purchase and shipped a replacement. I used this scraper and brush twice before it snapped at one of the attachment points. It snapped during the second use. I have a large 2500 truck, so I need the extra reach. Luckily I was almost done or I would have been SOL. We’ll see how fast the manufacturer responds to my request for replacement. Before this, I would’ve said it’s the nicest scraper I’ve ever had. With the price to match.

It’s heavy duty and really easy to assemble and easy to extend a lot better then using an old broom and scratching up my truck! It would be nice if the company would make a version that also has rubber molding around the scrapper.

Finally got to use this and on an 8" snow as well. My wife took over my previous scraper and since the truck is now outside I needed a new one. This one breaks down so small so quickly it fits under the back seat. It has 4 pieces and also one section extends. This allows me to leave it assembled in the back seat if I want but also allows me to reach more than halfway across the truck to brush the snow off. The scraper side is sturdy and reaches well and firmly. The brush rotates and locks and has the extension on that side. I was able to easily push snow off one side and pull it off the other without getting covered. It breaks down to a small back a little over 1.5ft when all packed up. I would purchase this again.

I really liked the extended reach of the brush. We have to clear snow off of solar panels that power lighted pillars at the end of our driveway that are usually blocked by snow plowed in front of the pillars. I expect this will work well.

UPDATE- Product arrived and overall looked great and felt like decent quality. Got to use it a few times for our first light snows and some windshield ice. 4 time using this, I had it extended and it broke right in half. I have had this product for 2 months and now I can’t exchange. Seller responded extremely quickly and has offered to make this right. Huge appreciate for the seller standing behind their product.
