I almost purchased a similar set at a local store, but it required picking up at a warehouse. Plus the price was significantly higher. I am pleasantly surprised that these were almost exactly the same and of excellent quality and reasonably priced. I replaced hard metal round stools with these chairs which are very comfortable. They are counter height and even with the back on the chair they don't rise up over the sight line of the counter by much. I wanted that clean line along the counter. The footprint is a bit wider than the chair which lends to stability over my old metal industrial stools. It's a small thing, but the footrest is an added comfort. My only problem is the fact that I need 3 total and these are sold in sets of two. So I will probably buy another set and find a place for the 4th stool! I can't speak for longevity, of course, but with care, these should last a long time. The stitching on the upholstered area seems sturdy. I recommend you take care when assembling to not strip the metal screw when starting it into the threads. I used the screwdriver gently to get it set properly and square to the hole before continuing the turns. If you force it and the screw isn't starting properly the threading will strip. I did this on another piece of outdoor furniture and it was hard to finish the assembly. One bad apple..... Anyway, lesson learned and hope your assembly is smooth. The instructions are easy to understand and it doesn't take long to get the legs and tops assembled.

Great value for what I paid. After pricing stools around town, I started looking on Amazon. Glad I did! These stools are very nice and very comfortable. I used them at my table because it's kind of high and the 24-inch seat height works perfectly. I thought the brown color might be too dark, but it's not, it blends nicely with my kitchen. They are easy to put together with the tool provided, and the instructions are clear. The fit and finish are exceptional. The material for the cover looks durable and the stitching looks like it will hold up well. They slide easily across the floor and did not mark up my hardwood flooring. One note, it didn't affect me but if you want or need more back support, you might want the stools with the higher back. These work fine for me.

I love these stools! Super easy to assemble, they provided the tool needed to put them together. Just so you know this stool huts low thoracic back area. So if you're looking for a higher back support, this would not be the stool for you. I find it's enough for a casual lounge but not full in relaxing back. The color if a nice dark green, my photos are showing it as a little lighter than in person, but not by much. In person I'd say they a little deeper/darker shade. I like the form of the sear because it cradles the hips when you sit back in it. My guest have given good reviews on it. My only warning is if you're looking to a lot of back support in a stool, you may not like this lower supported back. But we have no complaints with it. Perfect for countertop height, and we didn't want the chair to be olabove the height of the counter.
