First, the Ambition Kuark has Jumpstart mode! It is great for getting that extra push when starting back on a dry needle, but also cleaning needles out. Just turn the machine on and off while spraying water on your needles and the fast voltage change aids the old ink coming out. These batteries are light, long lasting and powerful! I've been using these for a little while. I've put about 16-20 hours on each of them. They work really well, getting about 6.5 to 8 hours per charge, and they charge in about 3.5 hours. The timer is very useful for helping me determine exactly how long I was tattooing. Having the right machine for this battery is essential to a comfortable experience. I’ve had it for about a month and the battery last 8-10 hours before it needs to be charged. The standard setting doesn’t work on this one ( doesn’t keep same voltage when turned back on) still works perfectly fine but I ordered another one a week later and the standard setting works on it.
