hot water tank broke so needed a new system. tankless water power limited to existing wiring. this tankless system works perfectly. and since there is no tank for nasty bacteria to grow I can set the temperature lower, at 105F, and save money. Only heating water I use. Also, no nasty gases (hydrogen) and no need for an expansion tank. And saved me $2k-$3k as it was simple to install myself. Win win win win. ... show more

This was a replacement for an older unit under my kitchen sink, Easy hook up and it works great,,,,Always remember to add a canister filter on the hot side to keep hard water chips out of your faucet.

One of sons recently purchased a home and I have been helping him with some upgrades. We built a coffee station at the edge of his kitchen/dining area and instead of running cold and hot water lines over there; I just ran cold and used this heater for the hot. Everything worked out well. We located the unit in the cabinet under the sink and installation was simple. I did have to run a 30-amp 240-volt circuit over there, but luckily for us, the breaker panel is located on the other side of the wall where out outlet needed to go. Obviously, this 6.5 KW water heater isn’t designed for whole house use, but for specific outlets like a kitchen sink, it is perfect. The unit is very small and takes up very little room. There is no PVC or copper plumbing connections to be made, just flex-lines. Do note, the description says it “meets” UL specifications, but doesn’t say it is UL certified. This has been in operation for a couple of weeks and my son has experience no issues. ... show more

Would have preferred the 11kWh but not enough room in the electrical box. Only using for laundry room (wash sink and washer). With ground water 67 in winter only gets to 98, unless flow turned down to restrict. But this is fine for the washer. And mop sink. This summer I am sure will get very hot (desert location). Will use that time to clean in cleansing cycles through the washer with “Ahh! Some “ cleaner. Love getting rid of the gas water heater big space hog, vs small clean box on the wall. Haven’t had long enough to know impact on power bill. But many use cold to wash with anyway. ... show more
