This is a great supplementary water heater. It works for a sink where you will only be washing hands or maybe even at a salon for ONE sink to wash hair in. It is not a whole house instant water heater. While you could use it in a van conversion, I would not use it to take showers. This is definitely meant for just a sink OR as a supplement (like if you happen to have one particular bathroom that is far from your main water heater, this one can be use on the line to further warm the water which is what we ended up using it for... by the time the hot line ran from the water heater to the en suite in the main bathroom, the water was a little bit warmer than luke warm. This kicked it right back up to hot. Easy to install. I do think there are better options out there just because this is so small and really ought to only be used right at the sink. ... show more
