First off, it’s important to know that the heater is shipped separately from the entertainment center. The tracking that was submitted to Amazon was for the heater, which arrived by UPS. I was a little confused and emailed the company, only to have the console arrive by FedEx a few minutes later. The heater was well-packed in formed styrofoam, with no damage whatsoever. The console had light damage on some of the corners and edges, but most of it was on the back side so I went ahead with assembly. Overall it was very simple to assemble. I highly recommend a powered screwdriver - there were a lot of cam fittings needed to put it together, and it would have been a pain without one. There was enough room behind the heater for a battery back-up, surge protector power strip and my cable modem, so all of the cables were easy to contain. The one gripe I have is that the shelves on the sides are not adjustable. The available space is pretty shallow - good if you have a BluRay player or other electronics, but not much space for anything else. Given that the piece is all cam fittings, I also wonder how well it will hold up over time, particularly if it is moved. ... show more

Lot of pieces to put together. Took me about 30 min to fully assemble. Remote works great has a high and low heat fan output. Disappointed in the flames though they are of one color and look one dimensional. I have seen other units that used multiple different color like white, yellow, orange and red to achieve a very realistic fire and flame look. This is only one color of orange. Would have been better if they put.a little more time in.multi.layering different colors to.make the fire look more dimensional and real. I would not.purchase this again and not returning because I would have to take it all.apart and box it.up. so I am living with it as is ... show more

Very nice entertaining center/fireplace. It took me just about an hour to assemble by myself. Instructions were very clear and all hardware was included. I received two separate shipments and they came from different locations. One with the entertainment center and one with the fireplace. Both shipments were received in good condition. The one minor issue was that the rear panels did not have holes to route cables out of the entertainment center from behind. So I had to cut a couple of holes. Not a big deal. I used an oscillating tool. The heat is adequate for a small room. It will take a bit longer if you are trying to bring up the temperature from a low number. But once it has raised it does a good job at maintaining it. Remote is very simple and easy to use. Came with battery already installed. ... show more
