I am in love with this TV stand, and so are my cats as you can see. The fireplace came separate from the actual stand, so that is why I have a picture with and without it! It took me about two to three hours to assemble, but it was an easy process - just time consuming. The instructions were clear and the sturdiness of the parts made it even easier. The material is just beautiful. It's even more beautiful in person - you would never know that I assembled this myself. I love that I can also use the stand without the fire place if I want. I can take the fireplace out by a few screws if I decide I don't want it anymore. THE FIREPLACE: The remote has four buttons. The on button, the light button, the heater button, and the timer button. The on button turns the light on and has three dimmable settings. The heater is temperature controlled - it starts at 65 degrees and goes up to HI. It goes up by 5 degrees each time you press the heater button, and pressing it after HI turns it off. The timer controls how long the heater stays on so that you don't forget to turn it off before bed! It honestly puts off enough heat that I don't think I'll even be using my apartment heaters this year. I have a personal heater right in front of me! The only thing I'd say that I don't like is the back to the TV stand. You can't put cords through anything else but the three holes in the small top part of the stand. I usually like putting an extension cord in one of the bottom cabinets, but I was disappointed to find out that I couldn't do that. In hindsight, to fix that I could have just left the back off, but I would have had to take a lot apart to do that so I made it work. OVERALL, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I love this piece more than I expected to. I shopped for quite some time before deciding to try this unit. For the price (on sale + adding freight) compared to so many other options, I was worried about everything - quality, size, color. It all works perfectly for me. The side shelves and fireplace "feel" smaller than expected but serve the purpose and are proportioned nicely with the overall size of the unit. It doesn't rock or shimmy side to side once put together. Seems very sturdy when complete but be careful with the side shelves when putting the unit together. Assembly will likely be a point of frustration. Each piece is labeled with a letter or number for identification in the instructions. However, a couple of the steps were difficult to know what was the front or which side needed to be facing "forward" or "up". We did have to disassemble a couple pieces to turn them around for a later step. It was easy to take them back apart, just took a little more time. The fireplace unit comes with a remote and several settings for heat and brightness. The color is unique and very nicely done for a wood finish on particle board material rather than solid wood. I am typically not a fan of fake wood colors. The unit was received with no damage and no parts missing. There was even an extra piece of each screw and wooden peg component. It ships in 2 packages as the description states. Ours were delivered separately but only a day apart.

I like the size of the cabinet and think it is well designed. The barn door slides work well and match the type on my coffer bar that is next to it. However, the picture exaggerates the size of the fire in the fire display. I do not see any flames on the far left and far right sides like the picture shows. The picture shows a high flame all the way across the flame box but not mine. There were none of the round stick on covers for the cam lock holes either. I've bought several self-assembled pieces of furniture and this is the first one that did not include the stick on cam lock holes. Excellent customer service will respond to any issues you have with their product.

I was looking for a fire place/TV stand for my 55" TV. I'd been looking for a while when I came across this piece. I love the color as well as the metal hardware. It came in 5 colors. I chose the gray. You can also change the color of the "fire light" to suit your taste. It was fairly easy to put together. Per the reviews, people had problems with the alignment of the screw holes. I ran into something similar. I ordered the log insert. They didn't have it but offered the glass rock-type insert instead. This insert doesn't have the same depth as the log insert. Therefore to install it, I had to create holes to secure it. The only other problem I had was with the cam locks. The are cheaply made and stripped easily when using the allen key that came with it. I improvised and used a Phillips screwdriver and it worked perfectly!!!! This style comes in a larger size to fit up to a 65" TV. I will add my studio space is fairly large at 735 sq ft with 20 ft high ceilings. Most all space heaters cover 400 sq ft. But I have ceiling fans that will help circulate the heat and keep my apartment comfortable. The temperature goes as high as 95° which is too high for me. I kept it at 70° or 75° and was good. It was delivered quickly (I ordered it in the middle of winter) and came in 2 boxes. Overall I'm very happy with this item. It looks good in my apartment. Even my son and my girlfriend will be purchasing for their homes.
