Kiddo wanted a skateboard for Christmas…. So guess what else I stuffed in the box? The #1 thing I was recommended for a newbie (grom) was wrist guards. Love that the kit comes with wrist guard, knee and elbow pads - mine gets enough scrapes without assistance from wheeled contraptions. Light weight, and sturdy, the first day out was great! Lils is pretty fearless and took a few spills, but got right back on the board. Although… if there’s one improvement to the kit I would make - does anyone make a butt pad? 🤣 Comes with a nice mesh bag for packing in the mom bag when we’re going to and from the park. My six year old is pretty bony, so I had to cinch down the small-sized gear. Excited to see him grow into them.

I use this when my daughter does her figure ice skating classes. We use the knee and elbow pads for the class. It is easy to put them on. It goes over her pants. Our previous knee pad required to be put on from the foot because it did not have the velcro that opened completely, it was an elastic fabric that needed to be pulled up. It was hard to wear them specially if you have already your boots on. Now with this one is easy peasy. The size is appropriated for the age. The quality is good. I like that they offer a variety of colors. And the most important of all it protects her knees and elbows from hitting the ice.

Banzk Kids/Youth Knee Pads and Elbow Pads Set I ordered the Blue and Black for my 5 yr old son. He has been wanting to learn how to roller blade like his big sister and I have been afraid to let him without him wearing knee and elbow pads. These knee, elbow and palm pads are pretty solid and provide great protection. My son feels more comfortable learning to rollerblade with his pads on. They have protected him from falls a number of times. Due to other reviews about comfort, I recommended that he ensure that he is wearing long pants and long sleeve shirt when he puts on his pads and we have had not any complaints about the comfort of the pads.

The media could not be loaded. This set is a good idea for kids with multiple areas covered—shins, elbows, and hands. Of course, for real protection, you should also put your kid in a helmet, too. The straps adjust down to be just a touch big for my little 5 year old, and are good for my 7 year old. The tough, grooved plastic holds up against dings and falls well, and there's lots of padding. The hand guards fit the palm well. Nothing feels uncomfortable to me or my kids. These can be put on before or after skates, though before is easier with the ability to simply slide through. The biggest thing this set does is give an increase in kid confidence to try new things and feel comfortable failing. Very good set.
