Great quality, beautiful set

LOVE this set. So glad I took the plunge (only 8 reviews had me nervous) because it’s a great value. It took me about 3-3.5 hours to put together alone, unsure if another person would’ve made it faster. (You do need two people at least for the umbrella part IMO, but the rest can be a one-man job.) Easy to follow instructions. The wood does look unsealed so I coated it with poly before putting it outside. The umbrella is DREAMY. Ours did show up in the wrong color and with the tiniest hole in the top, but it doesn’t affect usage and I didn’t notice the color until it was put together, so it obviously looks nice together anyways. Will update with how it holds up through the full summer & storage, etc. Another review mentioned the chairs don’t stack but mine do! Re: the photos - It does come with 8 chairs but we are only using 6.

I was a little late in the season but I finally caved and got an outdoor set. I was hesitant because I didnt know if I would realistically build it with time to enjoy it over the summer. When it arrived I took out one box to build it and to my surprise it was very quick and easy so in one night when the kids went to bed my husband and I assembled the table and chairs! The next morning we took the kids outside for a beautiful breakfast outdoors. They were so excited. The rest of the summer almost every meal was spend outside. We also bought a grill and pizza oven so we could entertain with our new incredible set. The umbrella is the best part - it’s huge and the coverage is just next level. Many of the tables I was interested in seated 6 but this one seats 8 comfortably. We will sit outside and enjoy it until it gets too cold which hopefully won’t be any time soon! If you are looking to increase your happiness by spending more time outdoors this is your set!

I purchased the Tangkula 11-Piece Rattan Outdoor Dining Set (Order placed May 23, 2024) and within less than 2 years, the wicker on all chairs and parts of the table is cracking and falling apart. This is clearly a product quality/defect issue, not normal wear and tear. I enjoy the set, but it is literally falling apart and is covered all winter water-proof set that also was bought on Amazon. I can only attach several because of your 10 MB max limit or I would send more. I am requesting a replacement, partial refund, or other resolution. Please advise on next steps as soon as possible. If nothing can be done at all, please let me know as well so I can take appropriate action on my part based on your findings and your response to this customer issue. Thanks in advance. I was concerned after reading the reviews about putting this together. My husband and I did it together and it took us about 2 hours. The biggest obstacle was the holes lining up but with 2 people we got it done. I love the wood look but our deck is exposed to the afternoon sun so I’m concerned about how it will look in a year. I treated the wood with linseed oil like all of my wood furniture and I did buy a cover for when we are getting days of rain. We are in Pennsylvania so we get a wide range of weather. The chairs do not stack so putting it away for the winter will be a pain. But it does look nice, it is sturdy. And it’s comfortable. The umbrella is huge and although finding the right spot for the large base was a challenge, it provides alt of shade.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This was not what we expected. Two of the chair backs have fallen apart, rattan flakes off the chair back, table was cracked but useable until after a week of storms, wood warped. I dont recommend this. You would need to keep it covered all the time

Poor quality

Poor quality. Some pieces didn’t fit together as they should. We had to use tools to alter them so they would fit together. Screws/bolts included were the wrong size. Too long. We had to get correct size at the hardware store. Umbrella pole pieces don’t fit together well enough to stay in place. I screwed in an extra bolt to secure. Many predrilled screw holes were off center, and some had rattan over them that had to be removed. Chairs were smaller than you would think. I’ll see how it lasts over the summer, but would NOT recommend.
