These cameras work great. I recommend not even Messing with AA batteries and getting yourself the rechargeable ones. Maybe consider getting the solar panel plug-ins as well. My only complaint about these is the cost of the yearly subscriptions and then having to pay additional for higher quality photos and videos. It’s like they’re nickel and dime you for all of it but overall, I am satisfied with the product and having the ability to receive trail cam photos from my phone 24/7. I have to purchase a monthly plan to use. Monthly plan has different tiers for it so I can get pretty expensive on that end as well. Cool if you just want to use the plan for a couple months out of the year. Batteries run out within a week, and it takes 12 AAs’s.. Again, it can get it expensive.

Bought the two pack. One of the cameras completely died in two months. Put in fresh batteries... still dead. The other camera working OK. I don't use the cellular feature. Got it only in case I changed my mind later. Now I find out that unless you buy the cellular plan WiFi features cannot work, so I can't run any kind of test on the camera that "died". NOWHERE in the Amazon listing nor in their users guide does it say that you must have a cell phone plan to make the other features, like WiFi work. I consider this to be unethical.
