  • Overall Great Camera
The media could not be loaded. Bought this camera about a month ago. Wanted to see what it could do before I posted a review. Awesome camera. I’ve had several different brands and this one is at the top. Super easy setup. Photos are amazing! When it turns dusk in some areas the photo quality isn’t there. Could be a setting I haven’t seen yet but not a deal breaker. Night photos are good too. Battery life was good. Used alkaline and they lasted the entire month and a lot of pics. Cellular price is good too. Changing to lithium batteries and solar power. On my other name brand cameras this combination usually lasts six to seven months before I have to change batteries. Also has sound too. Will be buying more of these cameras. ... show more

  • Best by FAR!
I've used all types of camera brands and each had their quirks. This is by far the best in terms of functionality, usability of app, quality of pictures/video, price, everything!! I cannot recommend this enough!

  • No need to waste one second comparing to other manufacturers.
Simply THE best such camera system available! Buy the rechargeable lithium battery. Buy the rechargeable lithium battery. Buy the rechargeable lithium battery. Recently purchased their option to place at any height to monitor my business yard.

  • Everything I wanted in a trail camera
I researched reviews of various trail cameras and this one had everything I wanted: night vision, color day photos, 4k photos, option to do video, large storage, sent photos to app on my phone, easy to use, solar battery option, lithium battery option, uses both wifi and cellular (your own cellular) good instructions, and not very expensive. You do need to sign up for the app if you want photos sent to you phone and there are options there too, so costs can add up up. (That's what gift cards are for). I am impressed. I caught a photo at night of a three-point buck and the raccoon that ate my 2 koi from my pond and kept taking swims in it afterward. Also birds in flight during the day. I've added these here. You also can view the photos on the screen on the trail cam and use your own SD card, so you may not need the app. If you are in for an exceptional trail cam, I highly recommend this one. ... show more

  • Works fine
With the 3.0, they decided to remove the password functionality. It seems that for some reason people can't remember their password. You have to do a firmware update to reset it. So instead of providing a "reset password" function, they took the easy way out and removed the functionality. Image quality and Videos are very good and the new aspect ration now provides a wider field of view. ... show more

  • Very easy to set-up!
This is the easiest device that I have ever set-up! At first I was put off by there not being an owners manual included with the camera. However, once I powered the unit and connected with the Reveal website all became clear. Very simple and clear interface, easy to connect with the internet carrier, etc. Pictures are clear and sharp. There are lots of options for how the unit can be set-up. This is how all game cam's should work! A welcome change for this 70+ year old from older camera units. ... show more

  • Would not recommend
There are a few issues I have with this trail camera. First, beware of their monthly plans. Their intermediate tier only allows the user to take up to 500 pictures ($8/month) then if you want to request on demand photo that is an extra $9/ month "XRTA" plan. To make matters worst, even with 95% battery and strong cell signal "full bars" requesting an on demand photo does not work. Did all the usual troubleshooting including adding and removing the camera to the app, even waiting 24 hours. In addition, I also had similar issues as other reviewers. The packaging was cracked due to it being shipped in a bag. The battery life went from 95% to 80% within 20 minutes (setup and troubleshooting). WiFi is constantly broadcasting and there is no option to disable or adjust any network settings...just wasting battery life. Do yourselves a favor and try something else. ... show more
