Great value, accessories and easy of use
I have 7 of these cameras now. I had another brand that was much more expensive and they had a significant failure rate. I was constantly sending them in for warranty and my buddy had one of these for years with no issues so as mine failed one by one and three this year I started replacing them with Tactacam and love them. These are by far the easiest to set up out of any camera I have owned. The built in SD cards with the option to add an additional card is a great option. How it picks the best signal and is up and running is another great feature not having to buy ATT or Verizon cameras, etc. The clarity is great day and night...are they the best probably not but they are more than addiquate. These are packed with options for scheduling daily pictures, GPS, weather and much more. The accessories is where Tactacam really won me over. Rechargable batteries, solar pannels, battery belts, etc. All of these are well integrated together and offer tons of options to setup cameras and forget them for months. I have one that has been out for a year and is still 100% in a high traffic area with a solar pannel. My only advice is take the temperature range seriously. My buddy left one out on a stake with a solar pannel all winter and it didnt make it. Mine on the tree with a solar pannel was fine but that one and the extemely cold temps we recieved this winter proved to be to much for it. Yes it was a gamble and yes we pushed it way below the recommended temp. It was an OG 3.0 Pro and mine was new so not sure if that made a difference.

Great camera
Great trail cameras. Cell service is spotty out at the farm but these cameras draw from different networks. I put in 2 food plots and I'm able to keep tabs on the plots and their visitors.

Great trail camera
We purchased this to use on our new home build so we could see each step of the construction process without getting in the way. It works awesome and easily connected to cellular data. Setup was simple and with the SD slot can hold thousands of HD pictures. The motion detection is very sensitive, but can be adjusted easily. The battery life is good, but I added a solar charger for it, and even with all the ram n this spring have never had a power issue. Once the house is complete I will use it on our hunting lease to track animals. This camera is very discreet. I have captured images all kinds of animals with it.

Battery Hog
Don’t buy the 3.0. Find a 2.0 if you want to get more than 10 days life out of the batteries. When the 3.0 is sitting idle and there no activity it consumes about 9% battery a day. I have a 2.0 and 3.0 set up the same way. The 3.0 will drain a rechargeable battery pack in less than two weeks. I put in AA batteries and it does the same thing. Maybe I got a bad camera but since it is outside the return window I am stuck with it.

Everything I wanted in a trail camera
I researched reviews of various trail cameras and this one had everything I wanted: night vision, color day photos, 4k photos, option to do video, large storage, sent photos to app on my phone, easy to use, solar battery option, lithium battery option, uses both wifi and cellular (your own cellular) good instructions, and not very expensive. You do need to sign up for the app if you want photos sent to you phone and there are options there too, so costs can add up up. (That's what gift cards are for). I am impressed. I caught a photo at night of a three-point buck and the raccoon that ate my 2 koi from my pond and kept taking swims in it afterward. Also birds in flight during the day. I've added these here. You also can view the photos on the screen on the trail cam and use your own SD card, so you may not need the app. If you are in for an exceptional trail cam, I highly recommend this one.

Plan to buy add ons.
Works really good. Bought as a Christmas gift for my son. Problem is... the extras that need to be purchased to really make it user friendly. Batteries cost a fortune, so you need a rechargeable one and solar panels are needed as well so you aren't constantly having to go to it, then the monthly fee. Bought him a solar panel as the next Christmas gift and batteries for this years gift. I purchased a second one this year for my husband and guess I will be doing the same for him. One piece at a time. 4 stars bc of all the extra Costa after the purchase. Son has been happy with the images.
