Most important thing first - the light that comes from this is awesome. Its bright and colorful. The design is excellent. I have one hanging on a wall and another as a "table" lamp. The only reason for 4 stars is because of durability. On both of mine the "leg" is really lose and I feel like I need to be super careful with it. The diffusing element has some spots where its not 100% seated in the ring too. If the build quality were just a little better it would be perfect.

For what you're getting, I believe the product is overpriced and should offer better control/functionality. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: - It is a fairly unique looking item that is a decent bit cheaper than other addressable RGB circular lights. - The brightness is pretty good, it can be used as a small area minimalist desk light on the white settings. Not enough to efficiently illuminate a room though. - There are a good bit of RGB colors/modes, and the white settings/temps are pretty nice too. - The material used feels fairly durable. It does not feel super "plasticky" and cheap. Cons: - The base it stands on is fairly loose and flimsy. - The item was not properly packaged for mailing. It just came in it's display box, nothing to prevent or minimalize damage to the product if anything happened. - The controller is at a pretty awkward spot. It is attached to the power cord as shown. The cord was roughly 74 inches long, and the controller is attached to it about half way along the cord. This made it difficult to find a placement that made the controller accessible whilst keeping dangling wires out of sight. - To turn off the device, you'll have to cycle back through the whites until the device turns off. - The colors do not persist when the device is turned off. If you want to get back to the RGB color or mode you liked after turning it back on, you'll have to cycle back through the modes until you reach it again. - I figured a solution to the issue above would be to leave the device on, and control it via smart plug. This does not work. Once the device loses power, you'll need to manually turn it back on and cycle through the colors and modes until you get the desirable effect once again. The issues with persisting colors and modes was a deal breaker for me. I did not wish to cycle through everything until I reached what I wanted every time I wanted to use the lamp. I was fairly disappointed in the product as it took a good while to get my hands on. I gave it 3/5 stars based on the appearance and options. It falls short in efficient functionality and the product did not justify the price for me. Hope this helps! Edit: Changed my rating to 3/5. Gave it too low of a score. It is a very nice desk piece if you're okay with the functionality.

The media could not be loaded. This is the perfect ring light! It has many dynamic patterns and colors! The only feature I'd like to see implemented is being able to change the brightness of the light in RGB mode. Other than that this product is amazing, would highly recommend!

This product is definitely cool for the price. The brightness is solid for a bedroom. There’s lots of different color options which is cool. Looks much cheaper than I expected. The slow mode on the RGB effects is choppy / like low refresh rate. It’s quality is worth the money, but not just not as stoked on it as I thought. I will keep it and make use of it
