This cookware set is wonderful. Due to lack of space, I wanted a stacking set, plus I wanted a tough, non-stick surface and quality cookware without spending a fortune. I looked at sets for weeks before deciding on this, and it's exactly what I needed. Everything I've cooked in these has come out wonderfully, and truly does not stick (including eggs, which usually stick to everything). You can put them in the dishwasher, but I hand-wash them, and they clean up easily. There's every size fry pan and sauce pan most cooks will need. They don't come with many lids, but I have other lids I can use. If you follow the directions (season lightly first with oil, don't use at high heat, and pre-heat pan before putting food in), these should last a long time. The price was mid-range, but this is much more than a "beginner set." They feel sturdy and durable. ... show more

Pan is easy to clean and doesn't seem to burn easily. Cooks evenly. Nice variety of pan sizes. Only complaint is lid handles are weird butterfly clamp type thing, not standard handles. Concerned that lid handles may not stand up to regular usage without breaking. Also larger pans don’t have lids; I should have paid attention to that so that’s my fault. I just wanted to reiterate what other reviewers have said about this set: it's great. I'm some months into using these pots and pans and they're in terrific shape still with the exception of being a little scuffed on the bottom (we could be more careful moving them around on our old stove). However, if you DO purchase this set, the one thing I wanted to stress is to read the booklet that comes with it, absorb the care instructions and follow them to the letter: - These cook extraordinarily well on very little heat and if you're torching them with a gas stove I would expect some problems to develop. - Use plastic, silicon or wood utensils. Metal will undoubtedly scratch and ruin your great set of cookware. - Don't subject them to swift changes in temperature in your sink. I let them cool first on the stove just to be sure no one runs water over them too soon. Take care of them and they'll take care of you, and all that. In retrospect, I'm a little mortified at how we've treated nonstick surfaces in the past, and it's reflected in some of the photos I've seen in other reviews. That's not a T-fal issue. That's a people issue. Thankfully, their care instructions have finally saved me from myself. ... show more

At first I wasn't sure the difference between anodized and non-anodized pens. Then I after reading into it I understand that there are even more durable and sturdy and stain resistant. This is my first time using this type of cookware. But I was very pleasantly surprised, the food did not stick at all and it was very easy to clean.
