When I first got them I was confused on how to get the magnet off, but you just pull it off the back and peel the sticky part and stick it to your cabinet. Very sticky and non have fallen off. I wanted some under cabinet lighting in the kitchen but didn't want to involve an electrician so set out to find suitable lighting. The first ones I ordered took 3-4 AAA batteries in each light so they were returned. This set was a little more expensive but are rechargeable led lights so no batteries to replace other than the remote control. Wow do they look nice! Easy to install and have 3 different color-tones plus can be adjusted to 50% or 100% brightness. When turned on with the remote they will stay on for 90 minutes or you can change it to 30 or 60 minutes using the remote. You can also touch a single one to come on or can manually turn them to on (don't forget to turn them back off though). I like turning them on in the morning and evening and then they go off by themselves. The set also came with 6 usb charging cords so you can charge them at the same time if you have a multi-usb charger. The lights themselves are magnetically attached to a strip that has an adheaive tape on the other side for mounting. You can easily remove the light from the magnetic strip for charging. I do have a large kitchen so have spaced them apart quite a distance so have to use the remote several times to get them all on. It isnt a problem for me but just something to mention. These lights are very nice. They're a great size, easy to install, and easy to use. I have some large built-in cabinets in my living room flanking my fireplace and I'm using these on the underside of the shelves to light the items in the area below. Upsides: -very pleasant looking -remote controlled, including pre-set timer options -adjustable brightness -easily removable to charge -well held- no fear of the magnet that it holds on to releasing and falling onto items below (the light and the metal strip grip well together) Downsides: -The magnetic plate that the light sticks to for mounting is adhered to the wall with the white foam-type non-removable double stick tape. It keeps it very secure which is likely part of the reason it is what they send. HOWEVER it is still the dreaded white foam-type non-removable tape. I fear I am going to regret using that in the future. Might I suggest using the removable mounting strips from 3M or similar item. They may not be guaranteed to stay as secure, but at least it's removable -I see a full charge on full power for only about an hour before the light starts to dim -I've had a bit of an issue with the timer not being quite right. Not a big deal- what's an hour and 15 minutes vs an hour, etc? Overall, very nice for the price. ... show more

These are the usb rechargeable versions with 20 LEDs, 10 white and 10 warm. Together on their brightest setting mix for a descent amount of lightning for my RV storage compartments. I find the ir sensor to work well and the ability to run independent of my batteries saves capacity for boondocking. These don’t have Motion sense rather are controlled by the touch sensitive on off switch or the remote control. The switch allows you to change the lighting modes which are 10 led white, 10 led warm 20 led mix and bright dim for each. I also tested them in the house for under cabinet lighting and found them to be good but not bright enough to thread a needle to if that makes sense. It’s better than a night light but not bright enough to do hobby work to. I have 2 setup in closets that don’t have lights and they are perfect. The versatility of the magnetic strip allows just about any mounting location. I have had them for a week or so and the batteries have not needed recharging yet so an update to battery life will be forthcoming. Not needing to keep a bunch of AA batteries around is worth it to me. These are quality built and feel really solid. I ordered a different brand from an auction site everyone by now knows, but those were cheaper quality, lower light output and based on the build quality probably not going last long. Im blow away by this product, it met every need we were looking for in our LED light search. The remote and rechargeable feature sold us immediately! I love that all 4 light can be synchronized, Within the proximity of where we placed the LED's - they all power on together and turn off together, it looks so professional ( they even dim on and dim off together) - to have an electrician hardwire LEDs like this would have cost us so much more! The Best part is that i tested the length of the batteries, from fully charged to completely depleted. The manufacturer says 7-8 hours at 50% power. Well.. I got 9.5 to 10 hours on the warm light setting at 100% light power on all 4 strips! This was the selling point! Because there nothing worse that having company over and your built in cabinet lights only work for 1.5 hours if your lucky! As for the power of the lights, i score it perfect for our needs, the light we needed were more for a "showcase and ambient mood lights" Everything on the remote is simple and fast to operate. With great remote response even while the LED's were tucked behind the wood facing of the Cabinet. What a price for a great product! Sturdy and feel strong. Im giving a perfect score! ... show more
