The Kraus sink is beautiful, high quality, easy-to-install, and the company has many helpful comments and videos online to help with every step of the process. I was recommended this sink by several home DIY channels on YouTube and I am glad I found this product. I was worried about the shipping as others had mentioned but the product showed up very well packaged and safe from crack or dings. I purchased the strainer set as well for a seamless look. Others were uncomfortable with using rubber O-rings and plastic threads on the strainers but it seems that the plumbing world is evolving from old plumber putty days to newer stuff and after some quick replumbing under my sink (the deeper sink meant I had to redo everything back to the main outlet, new P-trap, etc, but it was time to update anyhow), I’m ready to go with no leaks. I paired it with a recommended faucet also on Amazon here and it looks sharp. I think the off-center is actually attractive. I really like how deep the left part of the sink is and the shallow right upper sink is so handy as a staging area for dishes for the dishwasher, rinsing veggies, etc. I can’t believe how much this sink adds to the appeal of my kitchen. I smile every morning when making coffee and I have so many complements when guests are over! At dinner last night I had a friend order the exact same setup as mine; I can’t wait to help her install it at her place. This sink comes with under or overmount instructions and equipment. I used silicone sealer and the included overmount sink tighteners, cutting small wood blocks for them to “push” of of below the countertop so the metal part wouldn’t hit the sink and push it up off the countertop. The sink is heavy enough where I don’t believe I truly needed these attachments; a high grade silicone sealant should work fine if the geometry doesn’t allow for you to get the attachments on. If you have problems with the sink, please search Google or Youtube- this company seems to put great effort into their product support and there are so many helpful videos both by the company itself on Youtube and also by other DIYers. The sink itself is esthetically beautiful. Why it stinks like old cheese makes it unusable. I cannot install something that awfull smelling in my newly remodeled kitchen. I will give it two more days out of the bot to air out & if it doesn’t change. Will have to unfortunately return. Update: Thankfully, the sink was not the problem: it was the box. After airing it out, it was fine. The box however, stinks horribly. I will upgrade the sink to 5 stars, as it looks great in my kitchen. Today is final hookup day. ... show more

Updated the look of the kitchen in a major way. Had to remove the old white cast iron porcelain sink from under the granite countertops. That thing weighs a ton. Glad the new one is way lighter, so easier to manage. I used a bracket kit found on Amazon which is way better than the supplied individual brackets. It does have a couple of hairline cracks at diagonal corners which don't seem to be spreading so I'm leaving it alone as they are barely noticeable. Found some black caulk which makes the look seamless. We shall see how it holds up. EDIT 02.18.21: Sink is holding up well after 13 months. No issues with keeping it looking clean. we've found that the smaller, shallower portion of the sink on the right is very useful for washing small items by hand. Upgrading rating to 4 stars. UPDATE 04/27: Still extremely happy with this sink. It continues to look good, is easy to clean and the hairline cracks have not increased in size and are not even noticeable unless I'm looking for them. ... show more

The first sink arrived broken at the corner where the half drilled holes are and it looked like that corner was banged on during shipping. The sink was packaged well. The worst part that I couldn't get my debit card refunded and I had to buy a second one. Amazon gave me a credit but the option would've been nice. The second sink arrived without any damage. After I installed and added a new matching matte black faucet the thing gleaned immaculately. All my previous kitchen sinks were cheap and generic so this was a major step up. I love the way it looks and feels. It has a smooth surface which makes cleaning easy. When I place silverware or a ceramic dish in it, it barely makes a sound and is so muffled compared to my previous thin steel sinks. I love the offset 60/40 design and having the larger side deeper than any sink I've ever owned. I can easily fit a 5-gallon bucket in it. I highly recommend this sink. ... show more
