These are good undercabinet lights. I like all of the colors and the remote control is easy to use. It is so easy to slide them off of the metal plates and put them back after charging. I have to charge them every day, and sometimes more than that. [Edit: I realize that they perform exactly as the product description states.] It is fast and easy to charge them using a power strip with USB ports and plenty of room for a couple of adapters to stay plugged in all the time. I am thinking about buying an extra set so that I always have some charged up and ready to go. [Edit: update: I bought another set of two that also came with another remote control. This is great, because I found uses for these lights in another room. Also, another little fun fact about these lights, is that they stick on any metal surface so you don’t just have to use the little metal plates that come with them. It is also handy to just grab one of them if your flashlight is not nearby. You can set them anywhere that you want light. I was pleasantly suprised with how well these turned out/worked. I wanted lights (that couldn’t be plugged in) for a display case I was building. They needed to be multi-colored, rechargeable, motion sensored, and changeable between night/day mode. This is really the only one I could find that had all of those (there’s some that are only white light, some that aren’t programmable for different sensor modes, etc.). The lights are bright and they light up at night when I walk by, then turn off by themselves shortly after. I haven’t had to recharge them yet but they come with magnetic sticky strips (which are insanely strong btw, I accidentally put one on crooked and couldn’t remove it easily lol) which means you can just detach the light. It comes with 4 USB charging cables so you can charge them all at once if needed. I’m overall very happy with this purchase. I was going to detract a star due to the $40 price tag, but then I remembered that it was $40/4 lights, which is equivalent to the $20/2 lights offered by similar listings. I like everything about these lights other than they're not very bright. Especially using colors. White light it uses two rows and can use up to four if you do both the white settings. If all the colors were that way they'd be 5 stars but for the colors is just one row of lights. I wanted color options to fit different holiday occasions. The battery life also isn't very long. I have this set in my kitchen and did have it set to come on whenever there was motion but it would be dead before night. Which would be from about 6am to midnight they could have been on. But that's when I really need them. My kids are scared of the dark and I can't see that great either. So I changed it to when it's dark enough and I still have to charge them every other day. They have a good magnetic hold the whole back is a magnet. I have another set that is just white lights but won't stick to anything but the magnets it came with. So overall happy with my purchase my see about finding a brighter set for holidays though. ... show more

I really didn’t expect much from these. Bought them for a dark hall closet with no light in a rental. I can’t believe how great they work! Charged them up and installed about two months ago and haven’t needed to recharge them yet. The motion sensor works really well (it’s a little tricky to figure out how to turn it on but read the instructions and you will figure it out).
