I really like the Obcursco "Boat" Trash Can. While designed to be used on a boat, this portable trash can has a lot of uses. For instance, it can be used for trash pickup, cleaning yard waste, car trips, and tailgating. I really like the versatility and size. In addition, it's easy to fold back up for storage. My 33 gallon size bags fit pretty well and it still stands on its own. I like the lid that you can zipper when done so your trash stays contained. The can's material is thick as well, so things like sticks and twigs don't poke through. In looking for a garbage bin for my van, it seemed like everything was either too large or too small. This nylon canvas bin is perfect. It took me a minute to figure out how to hang a garbage bag inside (just fasten the snaps right through the plastic -- the bag won't tear). This does make adding a new bag a bit tedious, but its far better than having a bag slip loose down inside and make a mess in the bottom of the bin. If the bag gets too full to remove through the top, you can drop the full bag through the bottom, as the bottom zips loose. This also means you can use this bag for different purposes (storage for cleaning towels, etc.). in a shop, versus on a boat or in a vehicle. I also like that if I have to hang the bag from a tree at night because I have very smelly trash, it probably will hold up against the elements, unlike a plain plastic bag ... show more

I ordered this Obcursco Boat Trash Can,100% Leakproof 900D Portable Garbage Bag Boat Pontoon Fishing Accessories Marine RV or Camping for primarily use while camping. It looks to be of solid construction and a well thought out product. I will most definitely plan to use trash bags/trash can liners inside of this so that I do not have to clean up an unnecessary mess. I think it is very nice that it also has a decently thick layer of clear plastic PVC liner in the bottom section to stop any serious leaks or spills from the bottom even if a trash bag inside should be punctured or break. It is equipped with multiple connection points and thus has plenty of options to mount/secure this polyester soft shell trash bin making it very portable indeed. ... show more

    • Heavy duty trash bag
The material on this bag is top notch and the zippers are built so they won't corrode. There is a nylon strap for the top which allows it to be carried off the pier over the shoulder or strapped up off the deck. The bottom has a bungee to help stabilize the bottom. I use a standard kitchen trash bag in mine and that works and I can stow quite a few in the front pocket. I like the heavy plastic liner at the bottom because I hate leaky messes. The trash bag can be held in place by a series of snaps/straps around the top and they work well... and they keep the plastic trash bag inside so the lid can be zipped shut and the garbage doesn't fly out. The storage bag is a bonus so it can be collapsed and stowed when not in use. Good product. ... show more

    • Good quality. Much better than using plastic bags on my boat
I always wind up cleaning up trash out of the boat after every fishing trip - but it's a lot worse when I have guests. This bag hangs out of the way enough, but visible enough that I can encourage everyone to use it rather than dumping water bottles back in the transom area (for instance). It's built out of strong material that I'm confident will hold up over time. This was exactly what I was looking for on the boat. I'm not really a fan of how the trash bag attaches to the trash can. The opening bunches up, and it's a few inches below the lip of the can. So you have to really make sure you get the trash down in the bag instead of just being able to toss it in. Other than that, it seems well made. I like how study and compact this is. Anyone with a modest sized boat knows how annoying trash can be. I used this to replace my old trash can which was a bag hanging on the underside of my cabin ladder. This looks nicer and folds up easily for stowage. Must have for boat or small rv. I wanted to like this trash can, but there are honestly much better options out there. This lacks the metal spiral wire which would enable it to stand upright by itself. The inside has several clasps and a rubbery band to hold the trash bag. It just seems poorly designed and not very useful.
