The chair is heavy-duty for sure, and I have no doubt that it can hold the weight it claims. I just cannot for the life of me find a perfect position in this chair. The armrests are way too small for me and don't have enough adjustment. The backrest is adjustable, but does not offer enough stops to find the perfect fit. I can have it either too far forward or too far back. If it had one more stop in between the two...I would be in heaven. As is, I use it as a spare for when I have friends come over. ... show more

I knew I was uncomfortable in my previous chairs, but I truly didn't know how comfortable this chair would be. I can spend hours at my desk and not have to lay in bed to recuperate afterwards. I wear a 6X in pants and my butt, hips, and front overhang all fit on the chair. It holds my weight with no give at all. The hydraulic lift holds my weight at a taller level which makes it so much easier to get up from a sitting position. Chair came faster than expected. Looks just like it's picture. The chair is easy to assemble and is pretty strong. It rocks nicely and adjusts nicely. I don't really like how the arm rests adjust.
