These light up good and are bright. Unfortunately the motion only lets them stay on 15 seconds, and there is no way to adjust that to make it longer. we Really want these to stay on 5-10 minutes once motion is detected. 15 seconds is just too short.

So, this rating is really a 4.5 star rating. They do offer 3 settings for different brightness levels - two with motion detection. One of the issues I have with this package is with the instructions. They do not correspond with what the light does. For instance: It says "Click it once...(Middle brightness mode)". In fact, when you click it once, it goes into the dimmest mode. The 2nd click gets "noticeably" brighter. However, the difference in brightness between click 2 and 3 is marginal - at best - almost undetectable. I docked them 1/2 star for all of this. I will say this: the brightness on clicks 2 & 3 are very bright. . This is what mine did: 1st Click - Light goes on and stays on in Dim Mode. Turns off when light is detected. 2nd Click - Light goes on and stays on in Bright Mode then turns to Dim Mode after about 15 seconds. Stays on in Dim Mode until motion is detected and turns back to bright for about 15 seconds. Then goes back into Dim Mode. 3rd Click - Light goes on and stays on in Bright Mode then turns Off. Turns back on (Bright Mode) when motion is detected for about 15 seconds. Then turns off until motion is detected again. I just got them and so I can tell you how long they will last. The lights themselves are made of plastic; so, I am a bit concerned about their lifespan here in Tucson, AZ. On one hand you need to keep the solar panel in the sun; on the other, the sun here in summer time can be brutal and does take a toll on plastics. We'll see. All-in-all, they are bright, they are solar, they do have motion detection. Comes with screws and anchors for securing.

These are good but not great. We are using these for our deck. I love the motion sensors but they did not last as long as I thought they would. Maybe because we are still in winter here in Wisconsin? Not sure. We have had plenty of sunny days already but I will update once we get more sun per day. They are good, just not great.

These lights are bright. I do not noticed much difference on the different levels of brightnesses but it does not bother me because I just need the brightest level. The brighrtness is pretty good for these little solar lights. Motion deteion works well when any movement is detected nearby. I would suggest to put the lights out somewhere with good sunslight so it can fully charge before mounting them.

I didn’t realize how small these lights were until I held one in my hand. Don’t let them fool you, though. They are very bright. Small, but mighty. I tried to take a photo of them in the dark, but it just doesn’t give them justice. They are bright. I do wish that the motion light would stay on longer than 15 seconds, but at least there is a mode where the light can just be on from dusk to dawn. I have a shed with a window. I decided to place the lights on the inside window sill to let them charge, before placing them around my property. That got me to thinking….. I could leave a couple of lights in that window sill and it would light up my shed at night, since I don’t have electricity out there. Yay! Sometimes I take things out to the shed in the dark and that is so nice to have automatic light out there and no need for a flashlight. I am also using them to light up my garbage can area. The rest will be placed around the front yard, so I can see better when I let my dog out at night. I am pleased with this set.

Solar Outdoor Lights Motion Sensor [140 LED/8 Packs]. These are smaller in size then most of the other fence lights on the market. They are only 3.5” by 4”. But provide as much, if not even more light than the larger units. 3 lighting modes with a motion detection option to fit your needs. With a good 6-hour charge, the lights do last a full 8 hours. This of course is dependent on the mode and the amount of full sun the units receive. Mounting is done by two screw mounting points on the top of the unit. No hidden mount or trying to figure out where the hidden screw slide on spots is located. Do not over tighten the mounting screw or there is a chance to crush or crack the plastic mounting/hanging points. I have them mounted around the yard on the fence and configured for the Mode 2. This provides a nice lighted atmosphere to the backyard. But lights up to the brighter light when they detect motion from our dogs. Highly recommend.

I tested these LED Motion Sensor Lights right out of the box on the side of my house. I plan to install these LED Lights on my privacy fence, but my fence is not quite ready. I am impressed with these lights. They are not that big, only a few inches wide. However, for a small size, they are very bright. These LED lights have 3 modes. Mode 1 is constant medium light. Mode 2 is constant dim light until motion is detected. If motion is detected, the light goes to full brightness for 20 seconds, then back to dim light. Mode 3 is off until motion is detected. If motion is detected, the light goes to full brightness for 20 seconds and shuts off. I tested how far away motion is detected. I was about 20 to 25 feet away and the light sensor detected my motion and turned on. I can't wait to install all 8 of these LED lights up on my privacy fence.
