I have a pitching machine throwing softballs between 35-65 mph at it and it has been left out doors for nearly 2 months now. As of right now, there are no signs of wear on it at all. The mat was taking a real beating and it held up great and is still in like-new condition. The girls pitch pretty well, so the mat was taking some serious whoppers. This is a nice addition to our batting practice, and it is made of a heavy enough material to hold up to many hits. The grommets made it easier for attaching although it took a little trial and error to figure out just the right height for hanging. I deducted a star because the red trim material seems cheap in comparison to the thick material of the overall target. It seems as if it would start to break down and unravel within a year or two of being subject to the outdoor elements, so it's a part that I'm going to keep my eye on. ... show more
