  • Well built and safe to use
Size: 360° Swive Shower Chair with Arms
This fits any tub or shower. The seat swiveling makes it so easy to use. It’s rated for like 500 lbs and after putting it together I believe it could handle that much weight. Nice plyable rubber feet to conform to your tub or showers floor. With all that said I think this chair is well built and very safe for someone disabled to use. ... show more

  • It turns 360 and very sturdy it's very light but strong
Size: 360° Swive Shower Chair with Arms
Very easy to put together, strong chair, my mom feels really safe in it. Easy to turn, push the button on the seat and it turns, arms go up on either side. So it's easy to slide out of. This suction cup stick well to the bottom of the shower. Mom needs help is in assisted living facility and they approve the chair and are going to order more for patience. ... show more

  • A strong person is needed to put this together
Size: 360° Swive Shower Chair with Arms
I put 4 stars because it's very hard to assemble. A strong person is needed. A disabled person can't do it alone. But other than that, it's very sturdy and comes with metal screws, unlike one negative reviewer said. Also, make sure to put it on it's side after every shower, to drain the water that collects under the seat, so it won't rust. I love it! ... show more

  • Sturdy
Size: 360° Swive Shower Chair with Arms
This chair works very well. It's sturdy and easy to put together. I bought it for my father-in-law, who is quickly losing his ability to care for himself. Two great features are the turning seat, and the independently adjustable feet/legs. The turning seat allows my FIL to enter the shower sideways, sitting while facing the shower entrance, and then turn 90 degrees to face the shower head (see photos). The independently adjustable feet/legs allows you to set each leg at a different leg so the chair stays level, with all four feet touching the floor, even though the shower floor slopes from all sides towards the drain in the center. No tilting or tipping chair. I'd buy it again. ... show more

  • Mostly sturdy (stability bars are faulty); Directions are abysmal
Size: 360° Swive Shower Chair with Arms
Writing this on my BIL’s account, as he ordered this for my ailing parent, and I’m the caretaker. I’m an older woman who is not terribly skilled mechanically, but I can hold my own and have assembled many things. I can follow directions. These are some of the worst directions I’ve ever seen! It starts with a picture of the parts…but the parts look nothing like the actual parts, and they are not labeled in the same way they are in the instructions. The “buckle cross pipes” in the image are called the “upper and lower snap on crossover pipes” in the instructions”, for instance. The “backrest tube”, which appears straight in the picture of the parts, has a 90 degree curve and is called the “backrest connecting pipe” in the instructions.” Then there are the screws. There are two kinds, which they have kindly labeled M6X33 and M6X43. The pictures are identical. Just so you know, M6X33 is black and M6X43 is white. Clearly it would be excessive to include such an unnecessary detail in the parts list. So for those of us that actually use instructions to put things together, these details matter. It also matters that when I’m told to “insert the backrest connecting pipe” (singular) and “use TWO screws”, I might look for two places to screw the thing in. Actually there are two pipes, and each one gets a single screw. Yes, when I’m following directions, I actually pay attention to details like that. When I was putting together the arm rests, there is a small tube (unnamed and barely shown) that goes into one side. There are no directions as to which way to put it in, and the two sides appear to be the same length. I pushed it in and was about 1/8” short of getting the marble to engage. I thought it was just me being weak (I’ve had to use some brute force on this), and kept trying to push it in. Finally I realized perhaps the two sides were not quite the same length, and that, of course, was the problem. But again, there are no instructions to help. Is it that hard to suggest inserting the end with the black cap? And even when I got the parts put together, there is nothing showing which direction to put them on the chair. I had to bring up the photo online and look at the picture there. Makes perfect sense once they’re on, but I needed a little guidance. So I have the chair together. I will comment that the “marbles” (I always called them buttons) that you use to adjust things are REALLY hard to push in. I had to use the flat blade of a pair of scissors to get enough leverage to push them in, and in several places, you have to push in two, or even four, at once. This is going to make it really tough to adjust the height. Luckily I don’t intend to adjust it much. Unfortunately, there is one issue that won’t go away with figuring out the instructions. There are two pieces that make a crossbar at the bottom to stabilize the legs. Obviously this is really important when you’re talking about an elderly person, especially if he is using it on the tallest setting. The engineering here is faulty to start with. The pieces are designed merely to sit into grooves in the legs, not to be screwed in at all. That means they can easily pop out. In my case, the crossbars are bent, so as soon as you try to tighten the screw, they just pop out of the grooves. Since the bars sit DOWN into the holes and the screw pulls them UP, it’s designed for failure. I just am unlucky enough to get bars that start out bent. But I am concerned even the ones that start out ok will tend to bend over time. Hoping the company will work with me to send me replacement parts, as this is a deal breaker otherwise. ... show more

  • Easy Installation, ideal for elderly or post surgery patients
Size: 360° Swive Shower Chair with Arms
I bought this chair for my dad after his knee surgery. He loves it! The 360 swivel was super ideal for him because of his lack of mobility the first few weeks. We liked that the arms were foldable for him to get in and out easier and they were stable enough for him to put his weight on them to get in and out of the chair! He’s a very tall gentlemen so the adjustable height was perfect! It was also very easy to put together, like 5 minute installation. Super easy! Definitely worth the money and he will probably use it forever now. ... show more

  • Safe/Heavyduty/Convenient
Size: 360° Swive Shower Chair with Arms
The media could not be loaded. This bathing/shower chair is a lifesaver. My son was in an accident recently and has multiple unstable spinal fractures. We needed a heavy duty, this one has 550lb capacity, safe chair that had the ability to turn him in our small shower stall. It is perfect. We were able to adjust the height multiple times to make it more comfortable for him to get in the seated position. The arms are removable and the seat swivels 360°. This along with a removable shower head allowed him to come home to recover vs rehab. I'd recommend this chair over and over. It's very stable. Everything that moves also locks so you know your loved one is safe. Easy to install without a wrench and easy to adjust when necessary. ... show more
