Worth it for the money. For the cost of a lunch, what are people expecting? Of course the pole will bend or break if you fill the net with wet heavy leaves or try to go deep into the pool. If you keep things at the surface and the load light, this should last at least a few seasons. Leverage is the key! Price was right and did the job for me. Poles snap into place and the head does not swivel like some other cheap skimmers.
