*EDIT* 5-3-2024 On many occasions, I have come very close to breaking a toe on the feet of this chair. I cut up a pool noodle and placed a piece of the PN on each foot and broken toe diverted. I would suggest going for the style of chair with the wheels. I mixed feelings about this chair but for the most, I like it. I purchased the grey material and it is very nice, kind of a tweed like pattern. The seat is nice and roomy as stated and is comfortable. The down side to this chair is that there is a smell to it so if you have sensitivities, you will need to let it off gas. also, it could also use a little bit of lumbar support. Assembly was fairly easy until you attach the back. It took two of us, one to lean on it so the plate would line up to the screw holes and the other to attach it with the screws. ... show more

    • Comfy, large seat base - don’t hesitate, just buy i1!
I work from home and bought this chair for a secondary workstation I have created away from my home office to completely separate home from work. Though I’ve had this product for less than a day, I am delighted with the thoughtful design and comfort level. The seat base is huge. You can view the measurements in the product information, but it may help to visualize that you can sit cross-legged on this chair due to the absence of arms and the wide base. I specifically looked for a wheel-less base to avoid gliding all around the tiled floor. This suited my needs. The chair back is not ergonomic or shaped to contour the spine, but it is padded and comfortable. I realised some form of compromise was necessary, but if extra spine support is needed, throw cushions or office chair ergonomic cushions will likely work. The chair swivels and reclines. I personally do not like the recline feature on any chair as it often surprises me and I feel as though I am falling. This is a good feature if you want it, as it facilitates a rocking motion. I searched for a while for this chair and was waiting to be disappointed due to my experiences buying desks from Amazon, and dealing with suppliers who either don’t ship the products (and claim they have), extensive delays, or shoddy workmanship with paired with unsatisfactory after-sales service. I hope this chair continues to function with the same level of comfort for the forseeable. Presently, I would recommend this chair based on my experience. ... show more

Finally found a chair that is supportive, comfortable and lets me sit cross-legged! Better than the gaming chair I had purchased. Easy to put together, very sturdy. The back support is A+. Big cushion on the bottom.

This chair is actually "big-guy" friendly as well. I love it! I'm 6 foot two inches and cash in at about 250 lbs. (no, I'm not all fat either lol). Most chairs (with wheels) tend to break down over a short period of time. And I've spent some big money on some chairs in the past. But this one is actually very comfy, nice and wide too. The best part is no wheels to eventually break off. Sits solid and I'll let ya'll know how the piston holds up over time. SO far, so good. ... show more

I got this chair last October. I work from home so I sit in it a lot. The chair didn’t last a year before it got really hard to sit in. Height was great and I loved the color/looks of the chair.
