Got exactly what I ordered. It only took 10 minutes to put it together. The chair is sturdy, durable, and the materials are heavy duty. i'll start off by saying i'm a big guy, 6'3, 385lbs, I previously had a Steelcase manufactured office chair that was given to me by a friend when her office was doing some renovations, the chair was manufactured Dec 29,2003 and was given to me in mid 2004. it has been used daily for many hours over the last 21+ years, but over the last 6 months or so it's slowly started to fall apart, and a couple days ago the recline mechanism broke (so the front of the seat tilts down when not held back by your legs) and it just got too uncomfortable to use with no feasible way to repair it. i figured any chair that lasted that long was worth looking at for a replacement......... well when i called them, the $2500 price for the same equivalent model chair sent me straight to Amazon for an alternative and after several days of researching i picked this one...... it came a day early, was super easy to assemble (a T-handle allen wrench is included and is the only tool you'll need for assembly), it's super comfortable and well made with heavy thick steel brackets. a couple of the wheels took some good hand force to snap into place so some people may have difficulty getting them in by hand. the recline feature isn't adjustable as far as the degree of recline goes, but it does offer a stop that prevents reclining and a knob to adjust how much force is required to recline when not using the stop. there is no adjustable degree of recline but it offers a nice 'rocking chair' feel without feeling like it's going to flop over backwards when you rock full back. the arm rest are wide and comfortable and allow plenty of adjustability and support for getting up, sitting down, or adjusting yourself in the seat. overall i'm happy with the chair, especially for the price. hopefully it holds up long term.

I bought this because I'm a bigger guy, not huge but about 6'2" 260 and have bad hips so I needed a seat on the higher side to stay comfortable. The seat adjustment is a great variety of height ranging from fairly low to almost too high (perfect!) and it seems rock solid, no noises or anything in the first few weeks of use. Very comfortable with the lumbar support, and not particularly hard to put together: looks like a nice office chair. Seat is significantly wider than average too, great for bigger people. Very comfortable, fantastic value, and solid construction. The armrest adjustments are... weird. I find them clicking into slightly different positions on the regular when I don't intend to do anything to them. It's nice to have the options, but the adjustment is a little too easy to make accidentally, otherwise this would be an EASY 5 star+ chair. You get used to it though.

I just got this today, so I can't say yet how it lasts, but it is really sturdy! All the parts are steel and it's really heavy. I'm an old lady and I put most of it together by myself. I needed help getting the wheels on and putting the chair on its base. It is too heavy for me to pick up. It's really comfortable and has a lot of adjustments. It came a day early. I just wanted to let people know that it's easy to put together, but you might need some help. I also watched an unboxing video on YouTube. Revised: this is the most uncomfortable chair I've ever had. The lumbar support cannot be adjusted low enough for my back and I can't remove it. It's very stiff and hard. I do not recommend this chair at all!

This is a very comfortable office chair that I am using in my classroom. Keep in mind it is very wide. I chose to get the heavier support chair (I'm 5'9" and weigh 220 lbs) because the hydraulic cylinder in my last chair did not seem to last long. I would rather have had a sturdy chair that would support weight but not be quite so wide. All in all, it was a good value for the money, and I've had no issues with the chair's operation in the 4 months I have been using it. The height adjusts well, and the chair looks great with good quality.

6'3" 265. Big comfy office chair for Big folk and my petite wife likes it too. Super solid at this great price point. 20 minute build with good instructions (some small lettering) and great packaging. Upright sitting position with small amount of rocking room. My last chair broke after a few years due to too much rocking room. Happy I choose this one.
