I mention the Hellcat Pro because the gunsmith installing it for me at first didn't think it would fit the Pro model. It fits well, looks great and seems easy to acquire the red dot. The packaging was nice and complete - they included 2 screw sets in case you needed different ones for your application. I haven't really had a chance to test accuracy but it was bore sighted for 10 meters. I have concerns over battery life and changing the battery by taking it off the gun. Too, I don't understand their warranty of 50,000 rounds although I doubt I'll ever reach that number. I ordered the Shield SMSc from Springfield but they took too long so I stuck with this sight. I hope I didn't make a mistake but so far, so good. ... show more

    • Really Helps Novice Shooters
Read a lot about red dots and wasn't sure it was going help novice shooters like me and the wife but it did. Part of the reasoning for going with the Sentinel was it fit on my wife's Glock 43X mos with no slide modifications or adapter plates that would make sit higher on the slide. Installed it myself which was dead simple and went to the range and got it zero'd in. After a few tips from the range guys on site acquisition to bring the dot into view, adjusting our trigger pulls and grip, we were able to hit a 6 inch circle from 15 yards pretty consistently where before we were all over the place at 7 yards. One disclaimer.... If you have bad shooting habits like we did, this won't solve those issues but it does remove the need to line up your front and back sites taking one of the variables off your plate. ... show more

It's a good red dot. Well made, but it like my holosun better. I have this mounted to my 365x. I may just have to get used to it? The red dot could be a tad bit bigger. I bought the metal gaurd which is probably a good idea. It seems well enough made but still. The metal gaurd doesn't really add any height or anything to it. It's all flush so it wasn't and isn't a hassle. I just got done at the range 5 minutes ago and I used the swamp fox on one of my tools and the holosun on the other. Both mini red dots. I don't remember the price but I'm sure it's worth it. No issues after firing, the shake awake and little side sun thing worked as far as I know. If I was on a budget, I'd definitely get this. And once I get used to it. It may even be just as enjoyable as the holosun. ... show more

Excellent sight that is easy to mount, always on, almost perfect zero just a slight adjustment. Comes with a rubber cover that I will lose and an adjustment screw too also. Very pleased and would recommend.

Looks good😁 Functioning category = absolutely junk!! The ref dot is supposed to adjust to the ambient lighting around it. You have to have a telescope to see it. That’s after you close one eye, study it, maybe find it. Obviously by that time( way before) you are smoke sausage for someone.

This is my first Swampfox optic, have Trijicon, Sig and Holosun optics on many other pistols and rifles, the quality is on par with those manufacturers, a little better than the Sig optics, about the same as Holosun I'd say. Nice crisp dot, love the auto adjusting feature, glass that is plenty clear and we'll see how that batter holds up as it does tend to err on the side of being a little brighter than I would have set it manually but that's not a huge deal. Direct bolt on for Glock 43x. I bought the unit that is always on, not the shake and wake. I didn't pay attention when checking out, and I didn't intend to purchase the unit with the "always on" feature. But I really like it! Guaranteed to last 50,000 hours, which is around 5 years? I can live with that! Fits easily into my IWB holster and doesn't affect how I carry it. It doesn't pinch you or poke you. ... show more
