These are beautiful lights. We fenced the front yard after getting a puppy, and at night it was dark and not very flattering. They give just the right amount of light for us to see where the dog is and what she is doing,and at the same time they are discreet enough not to attract too much attention. We love the ambience they create and the character they gave our simple farm fence. Instalation was very simple, all lights worked like a charm and they've been through wind, heavy rains, snow and lots of sunshine and not a single one has broken or stopped working. We turn them on at dusk and off in the morning before leaving. No problems whatsoever. Would highly recommend these. As a side note, I don't know if they were supposed to come with a remote, but we didn't get one. ... show more

I brought three sets which were 9 strings of light. 2 won't turn on out of the box then two weeks later 2 more went dead. Seller was quick to ship replacement so great customer service there. Now that they are all installed, I am just nervous that any one of them might go bad and I might have to take them down. I hope that they last for awhile. The picture showing a globe bulb filled with light is flat out false. These are Edison bulbs with a glowing filament only. I have 45 bulbs above a 20 x 10 foot patio in a dark corner of my yard, and it’s not that bright. The strands arrived with a total of 4 bulbs not functioning, though there were 3 extras included ... show more

These lights are great. I added them to a wifi bluetooth plug, and connected that to Alex (super easy, instructions come with the plug) and I can control brightness from my phone, as well as the on off, and set up a routine to go on and off at set times or sunset, etc. Love these lights! We've been using solar lights for years but they don't get enough sun to do the job - these will be perfect. ... show more

I'm not sure how they can say these are heavy duty commercials grade lights. They are far from it. In fact the hole that is used for attaching the light to the cable is made of soft rubber. I hope these light will hold up to the winds when it blows.

I bought these because they were quite a bit cheaper than lights I bought a few years ago. They are not the quality of the more expensive light sets, but that is to be expected at the price.
